I met Tinker Bell!!!

Yeah they have very quietly built a HUGE line completely based around these fairies. Plus, this dvd is only the first in a planned series of at least 4. (I bought one of the big hardcover books that was written by the woman who wrote Ella Enchanted and the illustrations are amazing!) The Disney stores in malls near me have entire alcoves dedicated to the fairies with clothing, costumes, accessories, toys, housewares, books, etc. I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon.
They'll at least be out for a year to keep promoting the releases of the dvds I think.

oh wow i didn't know there will be 4 dvd's i am super excited now, and thanks i really hope they are there for xmas time

That's not very nice to say. Princesses have friends on these boards. And FYI, some faeries and princesses do happen to be friends.

Yes, they all talk! My DD's had quite a conversation with them about their pin lanyards and the different fairies on them.

They had quite a conversation with me too. In fact, they were "flittering" all around me talking about my tinker bell stuff. It was kind of like when the aliens surround the guy in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".

I have a couple of different pics of that girl from different angles. I just used that one because it had the least red eye. They sure look alot alike.

We attended the 2pm Saturday viewing of the movie and we had the best time! I felt like they really appreciated us being there. They let us each pick a movie snack as we came in (typical movie snacks: Good n plenty, m&m's, sno caps, even fruit) and they didn't bug me about taking a bunch of pictures. But they were very strict about no picture taking/movie taking during the movie. They even had two police officers there walking around the crowd during the movie making sure no one took video. Then afterwards when the producer, screenwriter and director were speaking to the crowd, you could take photos again. We even got a goodie bag as we left! It was a plastic tinkerbell cup and a glowing tinkerbell pin!
I know it's alot of pictures but I hope you enjoy!
some of the pictures are blurry because I was afraid of using my flash, but then everyone was anyway.

Yes, you will walk downa hallway that will "magically" shrink you to the size of the fairies. I believe they said that the grass and plants will start to appear larger as you walk down the hallway to meet them.

I was waiting for DD's to comment on that when we met them, but they were too excited to notice
