I love the BCV because...

I love this thread! Except, it makes me want to be there!

1) Love the themeing.

2) Love the atmosphere.

3) Love watching Illuminations from my balcony

4) Love Art the greeter. We make a special trip through the front door just to see him!

5) Love walking to Epcot just for a little while.

6) Love swinging on the bench swings on the beach late at night looking over at the lights of the boardwalk.

7) Love Beaches and Creme.

8) Love the Smell of the resort!

9) Love the interior corridors!

Although all of the reasons we love BCV has been mentioned, I'll say them again. We love BCV because:

1. We love to spend the day at Stormalong Bay.

2. We love the food at Beaches & Cream.

3. We love the unique smell.

4. We love sitting on our balcony watching Illuminations.

5. We love the location. Secluded but near the action of the Boardwalk, Epcot and MGM.

6. We love Art, the Greeter. No trip to BCV is complete without visiting with Art.

7. We love the friendly CMs.

8. We love to jog around Crescent Lake or by the canal to MGM.

9. We love the color scheme and overall atmosphere.

And last but not least,

10. We love it because we own a little part of it!

Okay, here it goes:
easy access to parking (could not be better), access to EPCOT and MGM, Robert Stern the architect (whom is one of my favorites) did the BCV and he did a very good job, someone made a good decision on the pool/SAB since you cannot pool hop there, easy access to Flying Fish, Palio's, & BlueZoo, strolling on the Boardwalk, the aligator, the landscaping, sitting on the porch in the early spring soaking up the Florida sunshine, and the fact that it is removed from the primary resort/hotel area (it feels very private).

I am a huge fan of the Wilderness Lodge. And, at the time my family bought in, bCV and WLV were both available. The above reasons are why I landed where I did. Finally, I think that they all have a great product and themeing...

I love it for all the reasons stated previously (well, except the jogging ;) ) and for one other reason, that special feeling I get when we drive up to the guard house. DH and I spent our honeymoon at BC as a gift from FIL. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think we'd afford to be at this wonderful resort ever again.......I still get goose bumps thinking about it! I love DVC!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Agree with just about everything, plus
(1) the gingerbread carousel at Christmas time
(2) the wonderful Spaceship Earth view we've been fortunate enough to get both visits.
(3) Tilly at the front desk is a sweetie. (Assuming she's still there. If not, I don't want to know.)

And a special YES for the convenient parking! Never even tempted to use valet.

I love the BCV for all of the above, plus the fact that my family loves to stay there - even my DH!

BCV is great!
SAB rocks (as my DD says), Beaches and Cream is almost dangerous, the desserts are so good...Cape May Cafe dinners are one of our favorites....Epcot is right out the door, the boardwalk always has something to do, and we're close to miniature golf, a family favorite.
Best of all, we're at Disney and we have a great time.:yo-yo:

I love BCV because of the Sandcastle club!

I check in DD, and hubby and I go off to Yatchsman's steakhouse, and they have my favorite Cobb salad, and hubby gets his steak.

Aaaahhhhh

I love the BCV because.........

1) I love the decor in the rooms

2) I love the decorative architecture on the exterior

3) I love the 2 rooms to hang out in (is one called the drawing room?) on the first floor of the resort

4) I love the beach, the ducks, SAB, beaches and cream, cape may cafe, the alligator in the canal, the pretty lights near the pool at night.....

5) I love that we own there!

#1 I spent the most fun, quality time with my family.

#2 We get that proud feeling when We arrive that we are able
to stay at such a nice resort.

#3 We can go we want.

#4 my daughter's face lights up when seeing the Epcot Ball
from our room.

#5 all the stresses and worries of life disappear and happiness
and gratitude abound.

#6 you can walk five minutes and eat anything from any country.

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I agree with you all....BCV'S is great. It's great to see all the
positives from everyone.

What a Home !!!!!!!!

Can't wait for another stay at BCV for all of the reasons mentioned above. :teeth:

Wanting to keep seeing more good things about BCV to outweigh the bad things I kept reading last week. I'll be there soon myself & hope to only have great things to report back to you later on.

Based on the recent SSR construction threads, I am even happier that I decided to and was lucky enough to get a ressie at BCV for our first trip home as new DVC members. Of course, we will visit SSR while there and I plan to make a 2005 ressie for SSR in July.

After a first night in connecting rooms at Pop Century, I'm hoping for a bunch of WOW's from our 4 kids and DVC doubting wife too when they first walk through the door of our 2 bedroom\2 queen dedicated at BCV. They have never seen a DVC room before and I know I was very impressed the first and only time I saw one at Hilton Head in 1998. Of course, now I wish I had bought then. I hope my kids are just as excited about SSR when we go to look at the model rooms. I want to go back to WDW next year also & need them to push mom off the fence (not balcony) to go along.
