I've been slacking about moving MILs UR pts over to DHs card. These are the points to put towards the cruise trip, but I want to get them all on his card so we can book everything and such. I know her Chase login, but it kept wanting to send a code to her email and I didn't think I had that. Turns out I do. So I just moved those 54k URs through the daisy chain... MILs CSR to DHs CIP to my CSR to DHs CSR. That is ridiculous.

I know I sound super creepy that I have all of her logins, I promise I do not steal from my ILs or practice identity theft on them or my DH :rotfl:

i thought it says in stores... :\
ironically i have an RMN DP, i bought some stuff at Macys online and my RMN worked.
The app ones where you link your card are in store, but if you get on RMN online sometmies they have different offers and you just click through like any portal.

You should totally post this on reddit and see what happens!!!

Fancy box arrived from AMEX today. I'm guessing it's the Biz Platinum. I'm still scared about using it for non "business" spend, but that's the only way we can meet the high MSR. I sure hope it will be ok.

Not as fancy as the personal Platinums.

Looking for ideas for my next card. Thinking I’ll apply early January. Maybe a biz card to space out my personal apps? I don’t know. Feel free to give me any ideas you have. here’s what I’ve got right now:

Older than 2 years old:
AAA Visa (BoA) 1999 (keeping only because it’s my oldest card, otherwise I’d drop it)
Credit union gold Visa 2009
Target early 2016

Recent cards:
Amex Blue Preferred 2/2017
AAA Visa (BoA) 5/2017 (my best card right now for groceries after I max out the Amex BP)
CIP 6/30/2018
CSR 10/4/2018

P2 just got the Amex plat and also has IHG Premier. Planning a trip to Europe in May/June 2020 and looking at flying United. We’ll have a decent stash of URs and MRs by the time we order plane tickets though (mid summer 2019). Staying Air b&b in London probably, but hotel(s) in Paris. Kids also want to stay at the (future) newly refurbished Hotel New York at Disneyland Paris after their Marvel refurbishment for a couple nights. We still don’t have the CF and I do like the idea of the rotating categories.

Reminder and a Question, all rolled into one :)

Tomorrow is the last day for the Marriott More shopping portal. For first time users you get a 1000 point bonus on your first purchase of $25+. For slackers like moi this may be the last chance to get an order in.

I was going to buy a GC to Petco to make it an easy order but it looks like Petco uses Cashstar :( Since I don't see the Marriott shopping header when the Cashstar site opens that's not going to count right? Did anyone else order gift cards from any of the stores and have it work in general? I know Best Buy uses Cashstar too but maybe I can find a 3rd party GC I want from them. I have no idea what I want but there's a couple stores I know I'll be shopping at for the holidays so I'd like to just grab a GC now for the Marriott points.

Anyone else having problems with getting new cards from Amex. SO and I both got approved for the Blue Business at the end of October and we haven’t received our cards. Last week I reached out and was told that it was returned to them so they are sending me a new one. And today for SOs account they said the one they sent out was lost so they are sending him a new one today.
Took more than a week for SPG Biz and another week for the employee card to arrive.

Anyone notice at some point dosh changed the cash out amounts to max cash out of $20? It is odd. I know it wasn't like that before, because my previous cashouts were $29, $55, etc. So now I just cashed out $20 but I have $9.xx sitting in there I can't touch. The min balance to do a cash out is $25 it says, but only let me cash out $20 with a $29.xx balance.
2 days ago I cashed out $42

I’ll start out my saying I’m not familiar at all with Amex..so my Chase business recommendations would be CIC..5x office supply stores if your looking to buy gift cards, internet and cell service or CIU 1.5x on everything

Alas random person on Reddit is done hinting and straight up explained I’ll get 20k UR and points and they’d like $80, I can even wait until the bonus points post. The game was fun but now I’m done, told them no I don’t sell or bargain referrals. It’s definitely for the better, time to get back in the groove of life and work mañana!

As always looking forward to skimming what I manage to of the last week & a half that I missed here! I’ll also throw together a report on any churning aspects I think of from my trip here and I have a couple Hyatt Places to review for the hotel thread :)

In the condo association section there is the proposed budget for 2019, at the end of the document it shows what the proposed dues are per point.

Thank you!

This is probably the highest increase I've seen, but I would hope that it will level off next year.

OUCH! That is a high increase. YIKES! Last year my dues were $8083 and this year it looks like they will be $8895. I see some Disney gift cards and MSRs in my near future.

My first batch of discounted gift cards arrived today from the Sam's Club deal this past Saturday. Shipping trackers say I have deliveries out for tomorrow and Friday as well. Decently fast but definitely not two day.

Do point costs for Hilton hotels normally fluctuate? I know the cost might go down as it gets closer but do points per night also go down?

Has anyone done the BoA Bank Bonus? DH is targeted for the $300 one, after $4k in direct deposits in 90 days. Seems pretty straight forward on DoC.
I did the $150 via a referral and received my bonus within the time frame after completing the reqs. I didn’t have any issues with them and closed the account shortly after getting the bonus (since even with a few thousand in it they won’t approve me for a credit card so I don’t care about my relationship with them, others keep their accounts open and funded to increase their odds at cc approvals).

A few people are shutdown in short order after opening a BoA account but no one knows why. I didn’t have any issues so I’d say definitely go for it but keep an eye on the account for the first couple weeks in case they shut it down.

The $300 offer seems easy enough, especially with 3 months to hit the DD. Rumor according to DoC is that we could see more of these bigger type offers from BoA than my scrawny $150 so $300 is exactly what I’d be looking for on a BoA bonus right now!

*pokes @wendow * psssssssh... LINK

for anyone curious, 50k SW card working link outside an SW flight.
...is this a trap? I feel like it's a trap.

Also I was approved for the SW Biz around 10/19 after applying around 10/12. That makes it too soon to hit up Chase again, right?

EDIT: Links not working currently.
