Checked my Mint. All my Amex accounts have "error updating." I swear, I get one brand of cards fixed and then another goes down. I spent last week fighting Barclays on Mint. #FirstWorldChurnerProblems

Is it in the UR section of the app? Been trying to figure out where to look but I've got nothing different. Even updated my app today and everything looks exactly the same. I have the "new" labels on Apple and Deals options in the UR section but otherwise everything seems exactly the same.

They are showing on my desktop UR section. Has the green "new" tag.

My first AMEX statement closed on 11/12. Says I earned 2k in points on the statement. When I log in to SPG site, it still says I have zero points. How long does it take for them to appear?

What five Amex cards is everyone planning on keeping long term? I didn’t realize I’m at 4 with the Blue Biz. I think I definitely want to keep the SPG Biz for the free night and the Blue Business for the 2x MR. What else? I’m planning on opening the ones I want to cancel first and my keepers I’ll get later since I’m running out of slots. Hilton? Delta? Focus on MRs?

Do point costs for Hilton hotels normally fluctuate? I know the cost might go down as it gets closer but do points per night also go down?

My husband has some Hilton points from business travel. I recently looked at the Hilton at Disney Springs for the weekend of Feb 8-10. It says 50,000 a night, but when you go to select rooms I couldn't find anything under 115,000 points a night! 115,000 a night for a room listed at $251 is crazy! I would also be curious to see if points go down.

I was going to hold off until Dec/Jan for the CIP just to make sure I could easily knockout the MSR. If I pushed it up to this month, I think I could still make it work, but would a CIP now and then United personal by Jan be pushing it too much with Chase? I am sure there will be other United offers and think I should just probably let this one go for now and concentrate on my original plan.

I think your okay with the spacing between the CIP now and United in January....the spacing between my CSR and CIC was very similar.....

Schools are closed in MD too. I guess I'll be canceling my pedi for this morning. I am trying to be strong and letting my Vineyard Vines basket sit there...but SW has 4x (and I'm trying to get to the $1000) and a $30 off offer on my AmEx...and does DS really need 6 more shirts???

SWA opened flights through the beginning of August. Killed my SW stash (some of which were URs) with 5 flights to/from New England to CA. Also booked 3 nights around Yosemite and 4 nights in Anaheim with URs. I have 50000 URs pending, which I'll use to book the car. I have 4 nights, I believe, that I still need to book in CA but have enough Hiltons to do that, just need to narrow down what else I want to do.

This will be our 3rd trip paid with points for next year. Going to FL for a long weekend with DH in Jan (using SW points for flights, URs for car and staying for free at Mom's), 5 nights in Disney with DH for star wars marathon (SW points and probably Swan with Marriott points) in April. Needed to get good use out of our CP.

Going to need the next year to rebuild the stashes!

Eek! I went for the SW offer and was instantly approved! I figured the stress of worrying that the offer would be lower inflight in six weeks would be worse than the worry over meeting 4 MSRs with rolling deadlines.

Um, anyone have any tips for meeting MSR while also saving for a house?

I see the Chase offers are the same ones I have on my BoA Amerideals card. I have gotten some decent ones every now and then. Starbucks and Five Guys pop up fairly often.

FYI - this next release is a loooong way away BUT that is typical for this time of year.

• NEXT RELEASE: 2/7/19 - travel through September 2nd, 2019
• 11/15/18 - travel through August 5th, 2019
• 9/27/18 - travel through June 8th, 2019
• 8/30/18 - travel through April 7th, 2019
• 6/28/18 - travel through March 6th, 2019
• 5/31/18 - travel through January 6th, 2019
• 3/8/18 - travel through November 3rd, 2018
• 2/15/18 - travel through October 1st, 2018
• 11/2/17 - travel through August 6th, 2018
• 8/28/17 - travel through June 1st, 2018
• 7/27/17 - travel through April 6th, 2018
• 6/22/17 - travel through March 7th, 2018
• 5/18/17 - travel through January 7th, 2018

This could be useful to approximate when your travel time may become available for upcoming releases, however they don't always follow the exact same pattern (as you can see above). We should know the next release date Thursday - unfortunately if they follow last year’s pattern that next release may not occur for 3 months.

If you have no other apps with Chase, other than the SW Biz, in the past 30 days, you're good to go. On a Chase personal card application, you can be approved if you've had less than 2 Chase (personal or business) applications in the past 30 days.

Yes - this is a criticism that some have of Hilton. Their points costs can be "dynamic" and change like airline prices. They don't have an official published award chart that they stick to, (to my knowledge).

It takes about a day, maybe two, for points reflected on Amex to post to your SPG/Marriott account.
