Connecting in Nashville (BNA)

I have a connecting flight in Nashville with a 40 minute turnaround time. This is on Southwest and I believe they use terminals C and D. From looking at the airport map, I think I can go between those terminals (if necessary) without having to go through security again... can anyone confirm (or deny)?

Thank you!
You'll be fine. You would only need to go through security again if you were going to terminals A or B and then you'd be on a different airline. And 40 minutes will be plenty of time.

I got 2 of the $15 off $100 credits, and before end of June the best use for them is on my electric bill.

So I did the first yesterday on my CSP with $102.00 charged and will wait until that credits. I received emails for both these but also have something on a Disney card that ends June 30 that I need to check.

Then I'll pay another $100 plus a little bit on the 2nd card in a week or so. I can up my bill to $600 but am not going that far as I want to hold that spend for when I need it.

I also have insurance that I've already changed my payment to monthly to allow use of Visa gift cards, to get the 5% credit.

These little bits add up. I had an insurance bill of just over $800 for a 6 month segment and visited my agents office a couple of months ago. It's in walking distance from my house so while I was out exercising I dropped in. Had a stack of giftcards with me and the young guy worked with me to try to apply them. The system would only allow 2 payments at a time, so at first we were just going to wait a bit and try again.

Then he said, do it monthly and it doesn't cost extra (I asked). The monthly payment is $135 netting me $6.75 when I pay that bill, effectively reducing my payment by 5%. This is my car insurance.

Meanwhile my home insurance which will arrive in August will probably finish off the $6000 spend on my Brilliant upgrade. Already charged up almost $2k buying dinners ($25 monthly credit and we do food delivery on most weekends) plus home reno products such as paint and other stuff. The home reno will proceed slowly over the summer as I want a careful job rather than a fast one. I'm very lucky (right now) to have a guy who will work with me during his other contracts and is patient with my demands and suggestions.

Once I finish that spend, I'll need another card.

For Marriott/Bonvoy- I have like 80k point that are set to expire at end of month.terms and conditions state if I purchase points it'll extend? Anything else I can do to accomplish that? I have no current plans for them but don't want to lose it ETA- I kust bought 425 worth of points (on sale at least) bc I don't wanna think about it anymore lol

When I did that I also had to update all of my existing reservations too, so be sure to check that they all have the correct number. My reservations were all showing my tsa precheck number and had to update them to the number that came with GE.
Thanks for the info- I think I have but I'll try to check them- So when I look at my SWA flight, it says KTN on file- I tried to put it on the specific flight detail page and it doesn't let me... am I still ok?

Woke up this morning to everything thawed in my freezer. Of course this is just after big grocery shopping. Can't tell if the fridge part is working. Having the family over for dinner. I guess I'm off to buy some ice to get me through today and shopping for a new fridge tomorrow.
This one is 7yo(based on sticker inside). Came with the condo we downsized to in IL, so I'm not going to bother with repair. So frustrating with the bad timing.

what is more valuable? 9k UR or 17k Bonvoy? I'm pretty sure I'd rather hang onto my UR

You should be fine unless your KTN changed. Then you might want to double check that it is updated. That is the way my SWA reservation appears. I think the one I had to call because it wouldn’t let me update on line was Alaska.

Looking for some last minute advice. I have a Hilton FNC expiring this month and another one soon after with no immediate use for them. Looks like we could book some of the AI in Mexico since they're still showing standard room availability even though it's so close. Also have points for airfare through either SW, Delta, or AA. Any recommendations on a good AI? Looking at the one in Riviera Maya because we'd like a more laid back scene and reviews seem to point to that over staying in Cancun. Also any tips on visiting Chichen Itza are welcome. I know it's a long drive but it's probably the only time we'll be that close and DH would love to see it. Wondering if we could rent a car and drive on our own or if that's not safe/practical? We both dislike big tour groups.

ETA: Would also welcome any other suggestions on US resorts to spend maybe 3 nights? Not committed to Mexico. Would prefer one with a spa and not on the west coast. We'll be flying out of Pittsburgh, or driving if close. Thanks!

Did you close any? I applied for a CIU w/ 2 CIUs and 2 CICs open. I spend on all of them. I didn't lower any CLs. I had just closed my IHG Biz before applying. I think I'll close the other CIU and maybe one of the CICs. We'll see. I don't really want a CIP.

I had recently closed a CIC and had three others open. Applied for CIC and denied, then waited 30+ days and applied for CIP and instant approval. Maybe I would've been approved for the CIC just as easily but I didn't want to risk another inquiry with a denial.

So...

I have a flight booked on Southwest in September.... and yes it was rescheduled but it's now showing my return stopping in DENVER instead of Phoenix! Like the original took me from Buffalo to Phoenix through Denver, and now the return has me going from Buffalo to DENVER through Baltimore! What the heck.

ETA: Thankfully I was able to get through quickly on the phone (I was unable to modify online) and they also were unable to re-add EBCI for me so they had to refund and I repurchased.

I'm glad everyone else posted about SW flight changes because if they hadn't I would not have known mine was being changed. Is it normal for them to change without sending an email to the address on file?
IME it’s unusual not to get an email…I get one every time a flight changes…sometimes I notice a change before I get the email and have to wait to do the free change online

I accepted an upgrade offer from Amex gold to plat a few months ago. I just met the $6000 spend and got the 100,000MR. I don't technically need to met the spend until July. If I cancel the hotel stay for $700 that pushed me over the $6000 but immediately re-spend that $700 on something else Amex won't hate me right?
No its fine as long as you respend it right away.

Finally its June and thats new card time for us. I grabbed an Alaska Air card because we have an Alaskan cruise next year, now we need to focus on rebuilding hotel points because we are doing a week around WA before the cruise.

I have offers for 150k MR for 10k spend and 200k MR for 15k spend for the biz gold and plat respectively. Unfortunately Im not sure we can do that unless we prepay a lot of stuff.

How risky are the Hilton NLL offers for someone who already holds Hilton cards? Also considering the IHG biz or something else.

So refer a friend question- for Ink cash- if P2 has the link to refer, but I have auxiliary card with a different # on that same acct- does this mean P2 can't refer me for another? I don't want to do anything torublesome, the cc #'s are different.

He is fine to send you a support link…I’ve done it many times with one of us having an employee card

I have a newbie/dummy question. We're leaving tomorrow for Ireland and have a Delta positioning flight to BOS and then an award booking on Aer Lingus from BOS-DUB: itineraries are not linked. We aren't checking bags, so was thinking we wouldn't have to go thru security again. But do I still need to check in with Aer Lingus' desk or can we just check in online tonight and then go direct to the Aer Lingus gate?

We did the same route last year, but we stayed overnight in BOS so we went thru security and checked in with AL on the date we left the US.

If it's all connected you should be fine to do it online and then go to the gate. But you will need to do a passport check at the gate. I would do it once you're able to. My flight Sun had so many many people the gate agent had to call up for this is was crazy. I know it was that because one guy asked and said he'd checked in online.
