Do either the Bonvoy Business Amex or Hilton Business Amex get annual free night certificates?
I've never seen the tracker on the web version. I've always had to use the app.Not gonna lie I was having anxiety about my wifes CSP tracker not being on her account still on the desktop version anywhere but I logged into her account on the mobile app and there is a tracker for it! I knew she was definitely eligible but just glad to actually see it somewhere.

DD just finished the recalled sun screen over the weekend and tossed the container. Both of us had been spraying it all over the girls. I wasn't sure she really had it but Costco contacted us by letter and by phone. She's on my Costco account since she lived here.
Just did mine as well. I have 6 cans sitting at home. This was the only kind we used as it was not sticky... Ugh!!
I got a similar email for our Labor Day weekend Orlando flights. It directed me to change the reservations online if I wanted/needed to. However, I was not able to change them on the app or online. I had to call and get them to change it (after a 30 minute call back). I knew I would not be able to change mine because it had the CP, but it also would not let me change the stand alone passenger ressie. Hopefully they get that glitch worked out. The good news is I was able to extend my trip 1 day like I wanted without paying the higher fares for the next day.RIP SW Change WindowNotice the new language. I tried booking this same flight to change and no dice.

Your rights in an oversell situation |
While oversold flights are still the exception, when an airline has too many passengers show up for a flight, they offer increasing levels of compensation—often thousands of dollars—to solicit volunteers. They’re almost always able to sufficiently sweeten the pot to get enough volunteers. In other words, you’ll almost never get bumped against your will. In the first quarter of 2021, just 743 people were involuntarily bumped out of nearly 93 million passengers, a rate so infinitesimally small that I don’t trust my mediocre math skills to properly express it as a percentage. (US airline data gets reported on a 3-month delay.) The airline with the highest rate of involuntary bumps in the first quarter of 2021 was Frontier, followed by Spirit and Southwest. It’s legal for airlines to do this, but they gotta pay up, especially if you wind up getting significantly delayed. For domestic flights, it works out like this:
|
How to get the most compensation |
If the airline needs volunteers on your next flight, here’s how you can make sure you get the most compensation possible. First, if they need multiple volunteers, make sure you politely request that your compensation amount be the same as the final volunteer’s. You don’t want to volunteer at $300, only for the final person to get $1,000. Second, don’t be afraid to negotiate for other perks. Airline agents won’t necessarily mention what’s on the secret menu, but just like at In-N-Out, it 100% exists. You can ask for meal vouchers, hotel vouchers, access to lounges, a better routing on your replacement flight, even business class seats. Desperate airlines take desperate measures to find volunteers, especially when they need more than a few. Finally, if you’re lucky enough to get bumped on Delta, know that their Delta Choice Gift Card vouchers can be converted into Visa or American Express gift cards—functionally equivalent to cash. (This is significantly better than most airlines, where the voucher can only be used on that airline.) |
I seem to always need Avios so 100k is worth it for the card, but both DH and I took advantage of this a couple years ago and have had a HORRIBLE time getting our fees refunded. I've purchased numerous Club World award tickets with the card and they never trigger the $200. I've had to follow up months later on all of them. The only time I did an economy award it automatically triggered. I've complained numbers times to Chase via secure messages, but it doesn't help. I'm actually tempted to take it to whoever regulates credit cards because it's been such an issue. I think the fees are so high (they are usually in the $500-650 range coming from SFO) that the system doesn't realize it's for an award ticket? That's all I can think of why it isn't happening. So just a head's up that you may have to follow up.I'm wondering if the new BA offer for a 100k avios with only a $5k spend is worth it? The fees on BA are astronomical.
Thank you. Is anyone gonna do a citi premier to transfer points for AA?
I just got flight change notice (it's a strange one, instead of changing it to the almost same schedule I'd booked, they swapped it for another flight) with the 14 day language on either side of the flight.I got a similar email for our Labor Day weekend Orlando flights. Well I finally got my husband's online account set up (Chase) and HE doesn't have a tracker either! (I'm on desktop and all of my Chase cards except this most recent BA one for me have always had a tracker on desktop.)I guess I am just used to seeing it on all of the Chase Ink Cash cards right away on desktop.
Odd. I rarely use the app, just online login- trackers on all accounts this past monthWell I finally got my husband's online account set up (Chase) and HE doesn't have a tracker either! Oddly, my BA card has a tracker on the mobile app.
So perhaps if I log into his account from Mobile I will see a tracker? I had literally just SM'd them on his account right before I read all this.
TYP work pretty much like URs. Cashback, gift cards, travel portal. Few transfer partners, call Cruise and Tour department for Disney.I was pretty desperate for a new card so I went for it. Read a lot of datapoints of people being declined and that you needed to be 0/6 and I just happened to be that last week so I felt fairly confident. Was instant approved. I have looked into TYP many times and they seem confusing so have always shied away. I am thinking right now I will transfer them to AA but will do some research first. I need to buy a new car in the next few weeks so hoping to hit MSR with that. And then I will be desperate for a new card again. Could easily knock out a msr or 3 with tuition coming up.
