I think it’s cool that people are sewing masks for healthcare workers! I wish I could sew. Sadly, admin is not allowing masks from home. Everyone has a regular surgical mask and they have to keep it in a paper bag and reuse it, even when around covid positive patients. No N95 unless you’re intubating a coved patient. I hate that my hours have been cut but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t relieved not to be on the inpatient side.

That’s very thought. AFAIK, we don’t have a mask shortage yet but I texted with a nurse coworker today and it’s bad. There are at least 2 units of ICU patients where we normally have 1.

We've been watching The Office a bunch, too! We also downloaded an app called Pluto TV which is free and has some shows/movies to watch. Dh and I started rewatching Degrassi and are on season 4 now.

Yesterday, I was sitting at a desk that I moved in front of a window this week. I’ll tell you what I saw yesterday. The neighbors diagonally across the street, garage door goes up, car backs out. Garage door goes down. Car backs into street. Turns around in other neighbors driveway. Car goes back , garage door goes up, car drives into * middle* of two car garage. I think “ oh they must have forgot something”.Car backs out onto driveway, car drives back into garage, this time a little more to right. I’m thinking “ what is going on?” Car backs out, drives down street, turns around, comes back, garage door goes up, car drives in. A bit closer but not straight. Car backs out. Car parks in front of neighbors. Car turns around in driveway and then parks in front of own house. Car drives back into driveway. Teenage girl gets out of drivers side. Mom gets out of passenger side. Mom gets in drivers side and parks car back in garage.

I’ve actually never seen the original. I bet it’s free somewhere. We started with the first season of the next generation.

Been trying to get into The Office... just a bit too cringe-y for me I think.

Definitely no Tiger King here.

My mom has set her Blu Ray copy of the Downton Abbey movie in her garage for me so I will try to remember to pick it up tomorrow morning.

Still in limbo as to when I will see my kids again... they've been at their dad's since we are kind of up in the air about what my older step son is doing. I feel terrible for my husband but there is a part of me that will be very grateful when he has left to go to his new job. Obviously we are grateful he still HAS a new job... apparently they're already paying him! I believe his official start date is April 20 and he is driving so I suppose he'd better get a move on.

Husband made me promise I'd try harder next week to make sure we get the chance to go for a ride

Not sure, it was made for or by CBC and I don't know what Canada does with their shows. I watched it growing up because we got CBC but haven't seen them all. It was good and dealt with good issues a lot of other shows didn't but it was also very much of the time it was made. Worth a watch if it's out there anywhere, especially to see how the adults on the new degrassi were as teens.

At least they have 1 season of Degrassi High, but it's mostly next gen stuff. I'll have to look some more at some point.
