Update #2 for my spring break AA flights, because they are redepositing miles for free. I cancelled our return flight, and rebooked a web special. Saved 9K miles.
Yep@LuckyMamaInDE is your DD at IU?
Yep
Trying to figure out what to do now that classes will be online for the 2 weeks after spring break (break is next week)---I think I'll have her fly to PHL with her sibs while dh and I drive home (he has to visit clients). And then, I guess she'll fly to IND? Or I'll drive her out?
That was kinda what my dh said (our kids are all grown) is they should actually be keeping all the kids locked down at school LOL, most of them won't get that sick, and then they wouldn't be out and about getting exposed everywhere else.Saw it posted on our parent group since it hits closer to home. I am just confused on what this is supposed to be doing with all these universities going virtual for just a few weeks. Because chances are they are not staying put so they are just being exposed somewhere else and then it is the circle that never ends.
Well, I think any university is concerned about how quickly the virus could spread within a closed community like a residential campus, and I think they would not want to act in loco parentis at that point. I expect that some schools will continue with online classes only after this period of time, depending on their outside community---like Harvard is doing.Saw it posted on our parent group since it hits closer to home. Yeah, this situation would be difficult!Ours are currently on spring break, so if they tell them not to come back then no one is going to have any of their stuff needed to even do online classes. It is a mess.
I just saw Purdue posted too, so feel it is a matter of time. DD said she thought she is supposed to get an update tonight.
