I hope my mortgage company doesn't mind the 14 checks coming from Plastiq! Finally got all my MCGC's from the Staples promo uploaded and sent. A little time consuming but I'll take all the URs!

Did you talk to your mortgage company beforehand? When I called mine, they said if I didn't pay the full monthly amount due in a single payment, it would not be allocated properly. I wanted to see anyway, and did a $100 MCGC test through Plastiq, and it showed up only as "principal curtailment," so I was still on the hook for the full mortgage payment due.

Hope your company is more lenient!

Given our recent experiences churning, every time I check the AA site for Disney hotels I expect the rug to be pulled out from under me. :rotfl2::sad2::sad: LOL!

So for those that share the same worry...I do have a TERRIBLE backup plan for AA Miles. IF Disney went away...AND I had no other use for the miles...AND I wanted to just get something for then...you can cash out AA Miles at 0.4cpp for Disney Gift Cards. Of course, I'd like to get 150k AA Miles and use it for $1,500 in Disney Hotels...but in the unlikely event that wasn't possible, I still have potentially $800 towards Disney. Keep in mind that you can only redeem 150,000 AA Miles in this fashion each year.
I don't have any points yet to see anything but I also just am terrified this option will somehow be gone by the time I actually get any points to use. This is what Chase has done to us :(

My CIP application from several days ago is still pending with a 30 day notice. Would it be a bad idea to apply for a different card? We are planning a cruise in Jan 2020, and I'd like to use points for the hotel in San Juan, which will likely be a Marriott or Hilton.

I definitely wouldn't apply for another if this one is still pending. It could kill this application. Sometimes it can take up to a week to get approved, seems to be no rhyme or reason why some applications take days and some are auto approved.

I'm seriously considering it. Like maybe take off Monday and fly in Sunday, stay the night and do interviews before coming home Monday night. It will probably depend on how long it takes to get my new passport, I'm sending it in today for my name change. DH is going to start travelling for work some so I'm going to have him stop by the GE office at DEN each time to see if he can do his... I figured why not stop and ask? But if he doesn't have his done by the time my passport comes back...
Also keep checking the website for dh, sometimes appts. get cancelled and pop up randomly.

I’ve had business applications stay at pending for a week....don’t apply for another Chase card due to the 1/30 rule on business cards

This is a great place. Great people here. I don't post often, but read it all. I appreciate all of the answers to my questions including my AMEX Hilton SUB question from earlier this week, which posted yesterday to the tune of 100,000 points!

this is what I am getting for a dummy booking, it appears different from the offer posted here?

Gah!! Did they reduce it to $150?? That stmt credit keeps going down. It was $250 a month or 2 ago!

That's what I got when I applied last week. Figured I'll get a 150 AA gift card, sell it on Raise and move on.

It didn't start here until early this morning, maybe 4am. But since weather was going to be iffy through the whole day, they closed it down early. Most of the counties announced early here. Today all the schools plus the colleges and universities are all closed. Younger daughter works at a college and they announced yesterday as well. It's supposed to be gone tonight with ice replacing the snow which is actually worse around here.
I’m still in bed lol. I stayed up late reading figuring there would be no school and I was right. I set my alarm for 8:40 with the 2-hr delay and saw the schools were all closed around here so I went back to sleep. I didn’t wake up until 11 so I haven’t seen the damage yet. I did hear Dh come into our bedroom to get his hats and gloves so he must’ve went out to shovel

Ok needing some help here. I signed up for the SW Biz and SW Plus in order to get the CP. I didn't realize there was the 50,000pt offer at the time so just got the standard 40,000pts. I was just planning on meeting MS but DH has decided to get a CP as well so I was going to apply for him a SW Biz and use my referral to get him the plus. That would go ahead and get my the referral bonus where I would meet my CP. Then we would just need to meet his extra 4,000. I could do the 50,000pt offer on his instead of the referral, but part of my meeting MS was in 2018 so I have a ways to go if that makes since. I also have my sister who is wanting a card, but not the CP so he could then refer and hit his as well. (The referral bonus does count towards CP, right?) Here's what DH card break down looks like, I'm not sure that he is eligible with 5/24 so if not let me know and I will come up with another plan!

Chase Disney 4/16 (AU) Pre-churning game days...I signed up for the card and got our DD a free Cinderella dress prior to a trip. I thought I was really hot stuff...and now we are flying for free thanks to you all!!!
CIP 4/17
Marriott Visa 5/17
CSP 7/18

We have a legit business as self-employed chiropractors but I don't know if that makes a difference to Chase. Will the business card count against 5/24, like the CIP does? And if not, do I do the business first, and then the personal? I would really like to do the personal first so that I could go ahead and get the CP for me and then book flights for DD to Vegas in June/July. But I won't do that if it would mess up the business card. I'm not too worried about them selling out, but obviously the sooner the better. I don't have enough points currently to book her as a placeholder.

Thanks so much!

I realized I do have a few AA miles from my first statement close. I am looking for my end of March dates and there are no Disney coming up, which doesn't surprise cause it appears to be a super busy time and not much availability left. BUT I put in Aug 6-10 for the first part of our split stay and I'm still not able to bring up Disney resorts. How are you guys finding them on the AA portal? I looked at the map view but no Disney ones on there and not seeing any scrolling through the list.

I’d forgotten about those links. I wonder if those are still working. I will have to look that up. You didn’t have any trouble with the leaked link giving the correct SUB?

There are slightly different ones that work as of a couple weeks ago. I saved the post on reddit but then I thought, surely this was news worthy?! and lo and behold, here's the post in our News thread with the link to the latest ones -

Thanks benevolent dictator! So far DISchurners has been turning into exactly what I hoped for when @SouthFayetteFan suggested it way back :) A supplemental repository of all the goodness shared here, to support this monster of a thread (and each other!)

Mine was $200 today. I typed in an AA number I already had..could that be why?
