is this Sears???? b/c the only two times I ordered from them,my life was like this for a while. (after the 2nd time I vowed never again, which isn't hard now that they're rightfully out of business):rotfl:

It's Home Depoo (no, I didn't mispell it :rolleyes2). The delivery time for today was scheduled for 10AM-2PM. And I just got a call at 12:42PM! telling me the delivery is cancelled because of the weather! UGH! You really couldn't call me and tell me that earlier?!? Another wasted work day. It's now rescheduled for next Tuesday, so the fridge saga over here continues....

Thanks @SouthFayetteFan and @speedyfishy WHere do you put in the filter "disney"? I was looking everywhere for that earlier and cannot find, which is why I moved to the map. Thanks for the help!

Southfayette, remind me how quickly the points post once the MSR is met? I'll meet mine today!
Points will post with your statement close. If you're searching on a desktop when you get to the initial search results screen it should say "HOTEL RESULTS" at the top and on the left underneath the map view it says "Filters" and I just type in "Disney's" (with the apostrophe s) in that box and it shows ONLY Disney On-site hotels then.

Dislike, Dislike!

Ha, different browser.

For business owners

Earn 40,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after
$2,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. Plus, new cardmembers can also receive up to a $200 statement credit on eligible American Airlines purchases in the first 12 months of account opening.**
Annual fee $99, waived for the first 12 months*
Woah...lol that's hilarious! So uhhh which one do you like better, LOL?

Also reminder to request a match for 20k more miles then by doing this:

When logged into Citi, Click “Services” then “Credit Card Services” then “Request a credit limit increase” then “Request your Card agreement”. That will bring you to the "hidden" SM screen.

Say something like: “I noticed there is a higher offer of 60k AA miles. Is it possible to match my offer to that one.” It may help to actually include a link to the higher public offer. That higher offer may require a larger MSR but in practice they just give you a match (up to a max of 20k pts) without requiring any additional spend :)

I didn’t know this! We also have a HELOC that we use for tuition. Haven’t done my taxes yet so it hasn’t come to my attention. Bad news. I’m not very good about keeping up with this kind of info.

Sorry to be the bearer. I don't see how that tax change can do any good for anyone. It just makes it more expensive to pay for college if you're lucky enough to have home equity to do a HELOC. Maybe it makes lenders more money (still not seeing how that contributes to society at large)...

As long as all checks add up to the full payment amount, they will reclassify for you. You just have to call and ask them to do it.

That wasn't the impression I got from talking with my mortgage company, but I guess it's YMMV. Anyhow, I have a good system for paying mortgage at the moment that is better than the CIP was for me. I posted over on Dischurners about it a few weeks ago.

this is what I am getting for a dummy booking, it appears different from the offer posted here?

Are you logging in to your AA account to get this? I don't have an AA account yet, and when I go to the AA site, the offer is for 50K miles after 3K spend but no statement credit. Is the strategy to go for the statement credit since they will match higher points offers?

Would you mind listing out when you guys got the SW cards and how much spent in 2018 vs 2019? I think that would help us help you :)

I got the SW Biz card in mid-October and met the spend Jan 3 so that I could be prepared to book a CP as early as possible. (Looking back I realize this was a mistake bc I didn't actually need the CP that quickly into 2019 and it ended up costing me a few thousand points bc part of the MS was in 2018.) Once I realized my mistake I didnt' apply for the personal until mid-January so that all of that spend would at least be in 2019. I'm currently sitting at around 103,000 points for 2019. I have flights scheduled for our fam of 4 to Las Vegas in June and Disney in Aug. Definitely a few rookie mistakes, but I'm learning! Thanks for your help!

Yup, this about sums up how I'm feeling.

I'm so annoyed right now with our whole new fridge fiasco. The replacement fridge for the original damaged one was supposed to be delivered today. Take the day off work (again), empty out the fridge (again), delivery guys remove the back door so they can get the fridge out (again)...and then they start to leave!

Me: "Wait wait wait - where's the replacement fridge?!" Delivery guys: "There's nothing on the work order about that."

So they call the warehouse, find out the fridge is going to arrive there tomorrow and our delivery is scheduled for tomorrow too. Wait - what?!? Something definitely got screwed up because why would we schedule pick up and delivery on different days? Ugh. So nothing we can do and have to wait for tomorrow.

But we have no fridge right then because they had already moved out the damaged one. They tell us they aren't allowed to move the damaged one back in. HOLD ON - WHAT??? I'm sitting there with my counters piled up with food. After yet another call, we finally get them approval to move the damaged fridge back in (which is even more damaged now because they scratched it up).

So I just called customer service to complain and see if they could do anything to compensate me for my troubles, but they can't do anything until there's been a successful delivery. Told to call back tomorrow after the delivery for any compensation, and that compensation was at the discretion of whatever agent I end up talking to. :crazy2:??? The fridge tomorrow better be in perfect working order because I can't keep taking days off for this. I need my days for all my churning-related vacations!!!

Our dishwasher also got cancelled today due to weather. Definitely not as big of a hassle as your fridge saga though, bummer :(

I believe this is through a dummy booking offer where we start booking a flight and an Ad shows up for the credit card...

When I was logged into my account yesterday the dummy booking offer was worse than when I logged out.

Perfect! Thank you all! I misunderstood how the business card affected 5/24 and also realize I was thinking 5/48 (due to the 48month signup bonus rules). Trying to keep this all straight and then relay correctly to DH is exhausting! lol

You may already know...but the 48 month sign up bonus rule only applies to the Sapphire cards...The SW cards are still as 24 months

So weird, this is not how mine is displaying at all on my desktop. I'll try a different browser. There is no where to filter and under the map view. I have a side listing of filters I can choose and Universal hotels is one but not Disney and there is no where to type anything in. I tried filtering under 'airport shuttle' but that still didn't bring up Disney.

:offtopic:

Maryland friends... how's the weather up there? DH has to drive to Laurel tonight and I'm a little concerned.

@wendow - I will agree that March availability is spotty. I tried 3/25 - 3/29 and got no disney resorts. I then tried 3/27 - 4/1 and CBR, CSR, and AOA popped up. So not impossible, but definitely booked up pretty good.

Side note of interest: I also can see Swan and Dolphin on the AA site for around 30k miles per night. Of course this is probably 1cpp at the cash rate. So AA continues to be my new favorite mile/point for Disney World area hotels, LOL!
We don’t have any AA cards so I’m curious....how much would 30k miles be in a cash price?
