Orlando airport “pre-security” was super chill. TSA lines were short (probably about what I expected at 5pm.)

Once thru security a little crazier. A ton of cancelled and delayed flights. I feel so fortunate to be sitting on a ~20min delay when I see them boarding flights that should’ve taken off 6+ hours ago. Also, the people on the plane coming in should’ve arrived at noon so their Disney first day is wrecked. We would’ve been so bummed to miss Garden Grill on day 1 if that were us.

At any rate, that’s an update on our status for any who care. My wife is in good spirits as she can see a good nights sleep on our mattress in her immediate future.

My sister’s brand new house, finished basement, etc has mice. Despite Terminex and another exterminator they get in. Usually in the fall. Exterminator blames attached garage, but they also found one or two dead in basement wall when they tore it down.

I had mice. I live in an older home so filled with entry ways for them to get in. I had given up on getting rid of mice.

It got worse. My yorkie got fleas (despite Frontline), and then I started to get bitten so I called Orkin. No more fleas or mice. They spray something around the house perimeter which seems to keep them out. I have them come now every three months and they don't always treat, except the outside. I've had great success with Orkin at my house.

Suicide at MCO today. No time to get into all the details so google it but Apparently the airport is a mess and we are supposed to come home today :(

MHT-MCO flt 3886 at 3:05 I believe (landing 6:15) is the inbound plane we were supposed to use. (Then we It is cancelled...ours still shows on time though. I’m worried this won’t turn out good. With a wife with flight anxiety this is causing havoc to my last day at the parks. Not sure what to do - probably can’t call SW until our flight shows some status update.
I’m so sorry. Sending good thoughts for you and your wife.

We went through the TSA pre-check line around 7 pm with no wait. Now we are hanging out The Club MCO awaiting our delayed departure to BWI. It’s running 50 min late. We’re supposed to hit the ground I. Baltimore at midnight. Sure hope so since we have an hour drive home. Thank goodness for carry-ons only.

ETA: Overheard some JB pilots talking and apparently people are posting some nasty stuff on FB about the incident. So very sad. I hope the recent shutdown did not play a part in it.

No Amex 1099’s yet either. Is it possible they are just sending them to those who had multiple referrals? I only had a couple. Maybe those with less than a certain amount aren’t getting them? Or are ours all slow and that is wishful thinking?

Still haven’t gotten one either. Only one Hilton referral for me.

@Andysol just posted on reddit of a chase 1099 form for referrals... :\

RIP.

:badpc::badpc:

I think I’m in for about $700 just based on going through messages from people who used my links plus self referring for CIP. That one will be on DH. Guess I’ll tell him he needs to wait to file, I thought he was done.

Either Amex is adding them all up to make it reach the threshold or they haven’t sent them all yet. I had one at $550 but one as low as $75 in a separate envelope. My biggest one is from Delta.

Nothing here again tonight. But I'm pretty sure that even with DH and I referring each other back and forth we didn't reach $600. For once I'm hoping we didn't, anyway.

But Amex is sending them to everyone regardless of the $600. Only Chase seems to be adhering to the don't have to report if under $600 from what I've read. Hopefully that's the case because I should be under for Hyatt which I think is the only chase card I got a referral on. But if Amex had adhered to it as well I wouldn't be getting that one because my Delta wouldn't be high enough either. I guess at least I didn't work the full year so it shouldn't affect much, yay for quitting my job???

I closed my AA CitiBiz account by SM. Since they don’t reply, I’m not sure exactly which day it was closed, but when I log in, it says “this account is closed”. So I’m safe to open a new one?

DoC confirmed, its going out regardless of $600 or not.

Chase is valuing all points at 1¢ for the purposes of these forms. Note: Only referral bonuses are getting 1099s, not signup bonuses or any other sort of bonus, regardless of how it was redeemed. These forms are being sent out even if you did not receive $600 worth of referrals ($600 is the threshold where financial institutions are required to send out the form, but they can send out forms if the amount is under this and you’re supposed to self report anyway).

DD got another mailer from CitiAA. Does it affect her in any way if I decide to hop on the GrAAvy train? I've had the Citi AA card since forever (honestly it's been more than 10 years at this point).
You don’t need a mailer if you haven’t applied in 10 years. You need a mailer with no 24 month language if you’ve had a card/bonus in past 24 months, correct @Andysol ?
