Well I can’t get squat out of Amex but guess what just showed up in my SW account tonight? 15k bonus points for the 15% bonus offer in feb/mar/April! Guess the bonus miles did work!
I went and checked my dh's account since he had the promo too. He only got 9,112 bonus miles from it. Definitely not 15% since the bonus points were 110k and then 5k MSR, but I am not complaining about a free 9k points!
Yay, Dh got 9,177 points. His personal card points had posted before the promotion started so I knew he would only get 9000 something. Maybe yours also posted before it started.
I got 9,650 bonus points today. I'm pretty sure I had met MSR on the personal before the promotion started and maybe the BIZ statement had cut once. But hey, Im pretty happy to have a higher balance today than yestereday!

Anybody here using CardPool? Somebody on r/churning just received this message:

Hello,
The Cardpool team is hard at work to improve several parts of our systems and enhance the usability and benefits for our customers. As such, we have decided to take down the Marketplace service for the time being while we revamp a few key elements ahead of relaunching it later this summer. Therefore, the ability to list a product for sale to another member of the Cardpool family will no longer be available, but we will still buy product directly from you for resale, both online or via our network of retail and kiosk partnerships around the country which you can find on our website locator available here.
What this means for you: 1. If you listed product for sale and it has already been acquired by another Cardpool member, we will fulfill these orders and facilitate that exchange. You should not experience any disruption, and should just continue to follow the process to get your products sold and receive your payment. 2. If you had any product listed in our Marketplace and it has not been sold, we have removed them from our inventory listings for sale. If you still wish to sell the product, please visit our Sell Page to see if the brand you are selling is listed. We change the brands we are buying from time to time, so if what you are looking for is not there currently, please check back soon. 3. For buying or selling in bulk (any order over $1,000.00) please contact bulk seller or buyer support via these links: Selling in Bulk or Buying in Bulk
Thank you for your attention. We will continue to give you updates as we move forward on this feature and many other improvements we have underway.
Thank You,
The Cardpool Support Team

Only by calling which is super annoying. If I can make the room only rez and pay for it online I should be able to continue paying it online. It's so silly.
What a pain! I agree....in this age I should be able to pay online! I want to give them my money easily and before I get there all without talking to anyone! :badpc:

The thing about Chicago pizza is it comes in thin, pan or stuffed. Stuffed and pan may be “more” Chicago, but there’s lots of thin crust pizza here. The thing I find different than most pizza is the cheese is the last ingredient, it covers everything else. When I have had pizza elsewhere, often the toppings, especially pepperoni or sausage, is on top of the cheese. Which is just weird to me.

But you can't get yummy crispy pepperoni if it's hiding under the cheese. Though Pizza Chicago in San Jose was one of my fav places to eat, don't know how authentic it was but it came out in a pan. So deep dish but not stuffed I guess since the only stuffed I know is stuffed crust from pizza hut.

Best pizza I've had/enjoyed the most was in little Italy in Boston and then Via Napoli. Probably partly why I like blaze pizza too, thinner but not crunchy crust, good sauce (blaze isn't even close) and real mozzarella along with some crispy pepperoni. Yum.

Agreed and I have to call before my Aug trip to pay my balance so I can use gc and not the cc on file.

Who knew when I was making my homemade pizza it was Chicago style. I always put a small amount of mozzarella cheese on the sauce then toppings and then the rest of the cheese. Now I am hungry🍕

Do you know when they would charge the final payment? Is it at check in or like 72 hours prior? Maybe at check-in, I could just pay with a gift card right there.

We always enjoy Gino’s East when we get pizza in Chicago. We will be back Labor Day weekend and I can’t wait to have it again.

Now that I think about it I think we went to Gino's East. We went with a large group who ordered lots of pizzas so it was fun to get to sample a bunch.

BTW I’m not far from Naperville
I thought I remembered that! We were in Naperville on that family trip, because my sister had a show choir competition

DH got 9128. I know one of his bonuses poster before the promo period. I had a moment of, wait hes got 30 more mins in the air for his Chicago flight and that's twice as many points as he should earn for it! Lol

Early the morning of check in, like you'll probably still be in bed or in my case on a plane somewhere over the midwest.

DH is on track for applying for CIP2 early July, and I am having a SERIOUS case of FOMO on the Rose Gold card. What is wrong with my DD, 25, and her SO, also 25. NEITHER has PayPal OR Venmo. How am I supposed to meet the MSR on both of these cards? GAH, where did I go wrong raising my child?!?

Can someone please remind me the number to call to check on the CIP? None of us ever get auto approved. :sad2:

Educational services. Outside of her regular PT job, her only 'business' is babysitting. So, I chose everything that looked like it would fit under childcare that I could.

Thanks. That's the same thing my DD put on her app.

Hoping those categories serve your dd as well as they've served mine!!!

Mostly off-topic (although we spend a small fortune on cat food so at least slightly related to CC spending; and tagging @amalone1013 since I think this might be related to her work): DH and I are having a disagreement about how we should store the dry cat food (yes, this is a hot topic in our household).

One of us says we should keep it in the bag in came in, which has a velcro strip at the top of the bag to reseal it once it's open. The person advocating this position says the food will stay fresh longer this way. The other of us says we should store the cat food in an airtight plastic food container with a pop-up kind of lid so that it's easier to dispense and looks neater in the pantry. This person would concede that we should keep it in the bag if it really does stay fresher that way, but is not convinced that the velcro strip is better than the plastic container.

So, does anyone here know what is the best way to store dry cat food?
Our cat food is stored in a plastic container. If the cats can get to the bag (closet door left open) they will tear up the bag to get to the food. Mine are incredibly picky about their food being "fresh". I have one of those feeders you fill up and food drops down into the bowl, they refuse it. Instead I have refill the other food bowl each morning and they wait in a line for their turn to eat from the small bowl. Weirdos.
(I sprinkle a little fresh food into the feeder, but it doesn't always trick them.)
