I hope the Treasure is not like the Wish

We love the Dream and Fantasy as well! Does the Wish have the detective agency or something in its place. My kids want to do the DA over and over again!
Yes. It’s on your phone. We did the whole thing and DD really liked it. Then on the last day they have something in Luna lounge to complete the quest. Unlike Midship detective, we never had a line at any of the wall art. But it dictates where you go next—Midship on the Dream you can kind of choose the order of your stops so we would a lot of times do all the clues on aft and then do all the clues forward. On the Wish it gives specific directions like go here on deck 10 forward next.

Very few ships seems to have a wrap-around promenade for running. Most ships with a running track have something much smaller on the upper decks instead.
That is not true. Check out Royals running tracks or the ones on NCL's newer ships.

It doesn't really matter the size of the running track they just need to have one. DCLs aren't exactly fabulous with the narrow tunnels and families playing shuffleboard. No running track on a ship is going to be perfect, but at least have one. I get exercising is not your thing, but there are enough of us who like running tracks it's an issue. It's been mentioned multiple times on this board as a negative of the Wish

"Very few" isn't "zero", of course.

It's definitely very few that don't have one at all and probably only one new ship that doesn't have one.

It's not just great as a running track, it is a great space to walk around in the evening before/after dinner, or frankly just take a break from the recirculated cruise ship A/C which can sometimes be drying and/or really cold. You don't have to be in marathon training for it to be useful.

Fortunately, that's still possible if you're able to walk up and down some stairs. There's a promenade on decks 4-6 that goes almost all the way around the ship. It also takes you all the way out to the bow of the ship, which is a much better view than the white corridors of the other ships.

Yeah, that would be the issue. For those with hip/knee issues, stairs can certainly be a problem. No more "just a lap around the ship" for me on the Wish.

Indeed. Because of my knee arthritis, my orthopedist has recommended daily walking, which helps greatly. But has also told me to avoid stairs or treadmills (because of the overly repetitive motion), which can worsen my condition. So on the Wish I’m reduced to walking back and forth on one side of deck 4, which is not much fun at all.

I've been running almost my whole life and have run many marathons. I have never ever incorporated stairs into a run hill yes, stairs no. You are right though stairs are extremely hard on the knees more so going down then up.

Why do you work so hard to defend the Wishes' lack of running track? Have you tried running on the Wish? How do you know it's a better view than other ships? Every ship's running track is in a different place.

I'm not "defending" anything. There's nothing to "defend". The Wish is different from the other four ships. Some people will prefer the Wish and others will prefer one of the other ships.

I've been around the track on the other four ships and I've seen the views at the front. White walls, small doors, signs warning about dangerous materials, and ropes. The Wish does it differently and stays outside at the front, going all the way to the prow.

Just to be clear - the elevators aren't that much of a challenge. It's only when you are at the aft elevators and want to get up to Palo/Enchante that you have the issue of getting an elevator that goes all the way up there. For any other use of the elevators it's never an issue.
Or if you want to go to Cove Cafe, or the adult Quiet Cove pool. These are one deck above Palo/Enchante to there are only 2 aft elevators that go there.

I know I’m in the minority but the front of ship promenade was one of my favorite parts of the Wish! The panoramic view was stunning—just like that scene in the Titanic.

I couldn't agree more. Running a 5k at sea was better than running one on Castaway Cay. The ocean right next to us as we ran was one of the best parts of the trip.

Thank you, that's good to know! But seems a bit more difficult, because they need the parents' phone and must be at a certain location the last day! Yes, we've done the Dream/Fantasy ones many many times. Kids love the wall art coming to life! So I can't really imagine how it will be with the phones!

Some wall art still comes to life. You just use your phone or tablet to interact with it instead of the card.

Its a 3-4 day cruise. With a land stop on castaway cay with a 5k run. You dont need to run on the wish.

But you can walk and its a much more spectacular track for walkers. Going out the front of the ship gives amazing views and often theres no one there. Other ships are really lacking this really cool aspect.
