Yes, but almost everyone makes a thread when they get tagged. I usually don't hang out on this board, and see it a lot in other places too. Anyway, there's no real harm done.

hint of advice:
don't whine or beg for them.
you have to say something that the tag fairy is amused by. amuse her, and she will amuse you with a tag ^___^. Begging doesn't help.
