And for those who wondered, we went the first year it opened with our boys. I hated it then! The next trip they asked if we could go again and I was a bad mommy (as opposed to a bad bad baby). I told them it closed because no one was going.![]()
I know the girls went back at least once or twice to build their own coaster but I didn't get any more pictures.
The important thing is the girls had a blast. Mary and I...we went and got a snack upstairs.Just not our thing.

Avery was making Mr. Mark happy:
And then there was Cayley:
We were a little early but they seated us anyway. We had an ideal spot...right near the stage and right next to one of the stair platforms where they perform.
Yes, I have got the girls loving their Starbucks. So much so that they can both order their own fancy drink without any help.![]()
Ahhh, Kathy, you don't like a huge multi-storied building full of dinging, blinging, zapping, loud video games? What's up with that? No, seriously, I wasn't that big of a fan of Disney Quest myself but Hunter and John loved it. The girls having a good time is all that mattered anyway.
Ummmm....no; neither did my pocketbook! Yes the girls did have fun.
I've never eaten at Raglan Road but the salads look absolutely delicious. I'm a big fan of any kind of salad. Is is similar to Rose & Crown or better?
Wonderful updates.
Thanks, Shannon.
I wasn't thrilled with DisneyQuest, but it has been requested again. This time I will find the snack bar and let the kids do their own thing.
They have lots of wonderful goodies in the snack bar!
We love going into Little Mismatched. We did that while we were trying to kill time at DTD at DLR. We spent about 20 minutes pairing socks. It gave us something to do.
Now that is funny. I'm not sure why we went in a second time? Or maybe I just took a picture because I was sitting there? It all runs together after awhile. I do know I got the girls t-shirts there the first night we went.
Chelsea has never been to a Starbucks. That is more for the sake of my wallet than it is anything else.
I can't say I blame you; but it was vacation after all.
Your Raglan Road experience seemed much better than ours. Ours was so bad, I may not return. We were seated in the very back inside the bar. They had a table of about 8 men at the big table, right next to us that were falling of their stools drunk. When the dancers came by and asked Chelsea to dance, they got up too and ended up stomping on Chelsea's foot twice. They just laughed and thought it hilarious. I was ready to be banned from Disney for life.![]()
Sorry you're still not at 100% KathyHow COOL they found a Disney Store in Ireland...and I LOVE the idea of DH and DS going to DisneyQuest and taking the girls to shop. I want to check out the co-op store
Thanks, Jeanette. Yes, we knew there ws one in Dublin going in. Definitely take me up on that idea of DQ and shopping!
They do look like they enjoyed DQ AND the Starbucks![]()
You are a bad, bad mommy!
Ssssh....don't tell anyone (I'm not sure either of the boys even knows that it is there; Andy may have seen it with Des...not sure.
Looks like a fun day anyway and too funny about getting the girls hooked on Starbucks!
Jill in CO
Your own kids didnt do any hat photos in the Ireland Disney store for Mr. Mark?!
Not at the Disney store; they did, however, have Andy trying several on in other parts of Ireland. His father told him he didn't do it nearly as good as he does.
The food at Ragland Rd looks so amazing. We have a reservation for it on our up coming trip (EIGHT DAYSSS). What is that drink?!
I think it is SO funny that you told your kids that DQ was closed! I would totally do that too!I told them last Saturday that the playground at the mall is closed on the weekends because I knew there were going to be way too many kids on it and I didn't want to deal with it. It worked and we just avoided that section of the mall.

I honestly laughed out loud when I read this!!!
A mom has to do what a mom has to do. My biggest issue is adults have to pay when they aren't doing any of that stuff!
Disney Quest sounds like a fun place... for Ethan and Lorelai, not for me. I have a feeling we will make a trip at some point!
Good luck!
Cayley looks terrified in most of the rollercoaster photos! Glad the kids had a great time.
She actually was having fun. I think it was that first ride and she wasn't sure what to expect. She went later all by herself!
Dinner at RR looks like fun!
It was! The girls had a blast participating.
**** Have fun this weekend visiting the kiddos!
Well, as long as the kids had fun.
That's what it is all about, right?
So cruel! So I guess the moral is you are nicer to other people's kids.
That is a distinct possibility...especially since I can send those other people's kids home. Plus, I didn't have to pay for Cayley and Avery, I had to pay for my two knuckleheads.
Good work, kids.
They did Mr. Mark very proud on this trip.
Raglan Road is another place on my list of things to try.
You would love it; they even have a burger!
That'll be $37.![]()
