I Am NOT a Bad, Bad Baby -- TR final updates 9/12

You are a bad, bad mommy! :rotfl2:

Looks like a fun day anyway and too funny about getting the girls hooked on Starbucks!

Jill in CO

Your own kids didnt do any hat photos in the Ireland Disney store for Mr. Mark?! :scared1:

The food at Ragland Rd looks so amazing. We have a reservation for it on our up coming trip (EIGHT DAYSSS). What is that drink?!

I think it is SO funny that you told your kids that DQ was closed! I would totally do that too! :rotfl: I told them last Saturday that the playground at the mall is closed on the weekends because I knew there were going to be way too many kids on it and I didn't want to deal with it. It worked and we just avoided that section of the mall. :lmao:

And for those who wondered, we went the first year it opened with our boys. I hated it then! The next trip they asked if we could go again and I was a bad mommy (as opposed to a bad bad baby). I told them it closed because no one was going. :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I honestly laughed out loud when I read this!!!

Disney Quest sounds like a fun place... for Ethan and Lorelai, not for me. I have a feeling we will make a trip at some point!

Cayley looks terrified in most of the rollercoaster photos! Glad the kids had a great time.

Dinner at RR looks like fun!

**** Have fun this weekend visiting the kiddos!

I know the girls went back at least once or twice to build their own coaster but I didn't get any more pictures.

The important thing is the girls had a blast. Mary and I...we went and got a snack upstairs. :rotfl2::rotfl2: Just not our thing.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Well, as long as the kids had fun.

And for those who wondered, we went the first year it opened with our boys. I hated it then! The next trip they asked if we could go again and I was a bad mommy (as opposed to a bad bad baby). I told them it closed because no one was going. :lmao:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: So cruel! So I guess the moral is you are nicer to other people's kids. :rotfl:

Avery was making Mr. Mark happy:

And then there was Cayley:

Good work, kids.:thumbsup2

We were a little early but they seated us anyway. We had an ideal spot...right near the stage and right next to one of the stair platforms where they perform.

Raglan Road is another place on my list of things to try.

Yes, I have got the girls loving their Starbucks. So much so that they can both order their own fancy drink without any help. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

That'll be $37.:thumbsup2

Ahhh, Kathy, you don't like a huge multi-storied building full of dinging, blinging, zapping, loud video games? What's up with that? No, seriously, I wasn't that big of a fan of Disney Quest myself but Hunter and John loved it. The girls having a good time is all that mattered anyway.

Ummmm....no; neither did my pocketbook! Yes the girls did have fun.

I've never eaten at Raglan Road but the salads look absolutely delicious. I'm a big fan of any kind of salad. Is is similar to Rose & Crown or better?

I like Rose & Crown better, but Raglan Road is still very good.

Wonderful updates.

Thanks, Shannon.

I wasn't thrilled with DisneyQuest, but it has been requested again. This time I will find the snack bar and let the kids do their own thing.

They have lots of wonderful goodies in the snack bar!

We love going into Little Mismatched. We did that while we were trying to kill time at DTD at DLR. We spent about 20 minutes pairing socks. :rotfl: It gave us something to do.

Now that is funny. I'm not sure why we went in a second time? Or maybe I just took a picture because I was sitting there? :confused3 It all runs together after awhile. I do know I got the girls t-shirts there the first night we went.

Chelsea has never been to a Starbucks. That is more for the sake of my wallet than it is anything else.

I can't say I blame you; but it was vacation after all. :)

Your Raglan Road experience seemed much better than ours. Ours was so bad, I may not return. We were seated in the very back inside the bar. They had a table of about 8 men at the big table, right next to us that were falling of their stools drunk. When the dancers came by and asked Chelsea to dance, they got up too and ended up stomping on Chelsea's foot twice. They just laughed and thought it hilarious. I was ready to be banned from Disney for life. :furious:

Ooooh....that doesn't sound good. I'm sorry you had such an awful experience.

Sorry you're still not at 100% Kathy  How COOL they found a Disney Store in Ireland...and I LOVE the idea of DH and DS going to DisneyQuest and taking the girls to shop. I want to check out the co-op store:goodvibes

Thanks, Jeanette. Yes, we knew there ws one in Dublin going in. Definitely take me up on that idea of DQ and shopping!

They do look like they enjoyed DQ AND the Starbucks:rotfl:

They had a blast! And I just love Cayley's poses.

You are a bad, bad mommy! :rotfl2:

Ssssh....don't tell anyone (I'm not sure either of the boys even knows that it is there; Andy may have seen it with Des...not sure.

Looks like a fun day anyway and too funny about getting the girls hooked on Starbucks!

Yes, it was a fun day, and the girls are hooked. I get pictures every once in awhile on my phone when they hit a Starbucks at home.

Your own kids didnt do any hat photos in the Ireland Disney store for Mr. Mark?! :scared1:

Not at the Disney store; they did, however, have Andy trying several on in other parts of Ireland. His father told him he didn't do it nearly as good as he does. :)

The food at Ragland Rd looks so amazing. We have a reservation for it on our up coming trip (EIGHT DAYSSS). What is that drink?!

That is a Bailey's Shake. It is so yummy.

:lmao:

Great minds think alike. I HATE those playgrounds at the mall. Thankfully, they didn't have them when my boys were younger.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I honestly laughed out loud when I read this!!!

A mom has to do what a mom has to do. My biggest issue is adults have to pay when they aren't doing any of that stuff!

Disney Quest sounds like a fun place... for Ethan and Lorelai, not for me. I have a feeling we will make a trip at some point!

Good luck! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Cayley looks terrified in most of the rollercoaster photos! Glad the kids had a great time.

She actually was having fun. I think it was that first ride and she wasn't sure what to expect. She went later all by herself!

Dinner at RR looks like fun!

It was! The girls had a blast participating.

**** Have fun this weekend visiting the kiddos!

Thank you; I've missed them as we've not seen them in 7 weeks. :(

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Well, as long as the kids had fun.

That's what it is all about, right?

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: So cruel! So I guess the moral is you are nicer to other people's kids. :rotfl:

That is a distinct possibility...especially since I can send those other people's kids home. Plus, I didn't have to pay for Cayley and Avery, I had to pay for my two knuckleheads.

Good work, kids.:thumbsup2

They did Mr. Mark very proud on this trip.

Raglan Road is another place on my list of things to try.

You would love it; they even have a burger!

That'll be $37.:thumbsup2

I think it was $35.50. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't like DQ either. DH and DS were supposed to go together last year. I was going to get some "me" time. Alas, that did not happen. DH was sick almost the whole Disney trip. I got to take DS to DQ and the only thing I enjoyed was lunch. :rotfl:

I love Raglan Road. The girls look like they had a great time dancing. :) I do have one question though...why no Bread and Butter Pudding? Dang that stuff is amazing!

LOVE the pictures from Ireland. I hope I get to visit one day. My husband does not want to visit another country until our boys are much much older. :confused3

I think my husband wants to go back to Disney Quest so badly, the boys are just to an age where they might have fun. But I am always like "I'd rather spend the money for a special meal or in the parks on souvenir's."

I love Raglan Road for the entertainment. My boys and I are not adventurous eaters and we ate there once, but no one finished their food (my husband wants to try it out, as he doesn't get to join us on most of the trips). We ate at the QS in the summer and my husband loved it.

What a nice night at DtD!

Raglan Road looks SO good! My mouth is watering! I was tempted to try it out on our last visit, but no ressies were available at the time we wanted. There's always next time, right? And the girls dancing -- so fun! :goodvibes

We have never set foot in Disney Quest. I'm hoping I never will. But who knows? Every time I see it as "DQ" I think of Dairy Queen, the ice cream place. I think it's regional - I'm not sure if they have those all over.

But I digress.

Glad they have a good snack bar, but I agree, it would be nice not to have to pay full price for the adults who aren't playing.

I hope that DTD construction wraps up. What a mess. You guys hit some good stores and Raglan Road looks good! Especially that Bailey's Shake!! How fun the girls got to dance. I love that they both got salads! One of my kids (Paige) loves caesar salad!

Good for Mark on trimming down! I have got to start getting serious about that.

Love the Ireland pictures! They are both just too cute!

OMG - I took the bus back to OKW on evening and it took an HOUR! :faint: Cynthia and I took a cab back one evening an the cabby gave us grief for only providing him a small fare because OKW it so close. Can't win!

Love the pictures of the girls in their hats, on stage, and, of course, drinking Starbucks. :rotfl2:

Raglan road looks like a ton of fun!

I hate the view of DTD right now. I hope it looks better in October.

The first time I went to DQ I was not a fan. But if you've been in the 100 plus Florida heat with no rain for an entire week in June you learn to appreciate it. :rotfl2: It's an acquired taste. ;)

Have a great weekend! :goodvibes

Caught up. Haven't rally been on the boards much lately. Trying to get the last burst of summer in.

I have never been to Disney Quest and I hope to keep that going. Who knows though, my new DSIL and grandsons would love it there.

Raglan Road is another place I've never been. My family tends to be very set and only like certain places and foods. Maybe one trip with just Jim and I.

Raglan Road is new to us, I have an ADR there in Sept but I was nervous about taking the kids there and on how loud it would be. Seeing the girls in there and dancing helped my nerves a bit. Looks like fun and the food looks yummy!

Goofy Candy Co. , yummy!! Little Miss Match is my DD's favourite store. We always have to make a stop in there. :)

Too bad the construction is making the DTD experience a pain. I love the DTD area! Hopefully it will be a little better in Sept, but somehow I doubt it will. :sad2:

Great update Kathy
I do wish they would hurry up and get DTD finished as we love going there in the evenings
I want to try and get over there on our next trip just to visit the co-op store which is awesome!

I must say it looks like the girls had a ton of fun hanging out together at Downtown Disney!

We love Raglan Road - glad you enjoyed your meal there ... though I didn't know you were allowed to go there and not get the bread pudding :rotfl:

The construction there has gotten me so down on DTD ... why is it taking them longer to build a parking garage than it took Universal to build Diagon Alley?!?!?!

Hi there Kathy! I wasn't such a fan of Disney Quest either!

That was cute that the girls joined in on the dancing at RR. Like the girls I wasn't fan of their bread but their desserts were amazing. I wish I'd make time to head back there.

The Irish proverb items were perfect for Des. Loved the Ireland photos - that landscape is just so lovely.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend with the kids.

Loved the update and you've convinced me...I've got to go to RR! Now I have to figure out how to fit it in! The trials and tribulations of going to WDW! Sighhhh :rotfl2:

Fun dinner!!!
I have no desire to go to Disney Quest either....and you crack me up because I have said things like that to my kids too.....in fact I am avoiding a lot of talk about my upcoming weekend conference trip when Claire asks. :rotfl2:

I have to say Raglan Road wins over Rose & Crown for me . Carol only wants the dessert:rotfl2: She had withdrawel symptoms when we scipped it in May !!!:rotfl2:
