I Am NOT a Bad, Bad Baby -- TR final updates 9/12

OmGoodness...that turtle!!! That is so amazing that they found it in the playground...and it was BIG! Yes, that was quite a find, girls! :goodvibes

Looks like you had a great time in Vegas! So cool to hang out with Disfriends outside of Disney! :thumbsup2

Nice life update! Glad the cold seems to be on the mend and you got a little bit more money out of Mark's old job. It looks like it was a fun and relaxing trip. All really good things!

Thanks, Cynthia. I wish this cough would go away. I feel good for a day or two and then like crap again. I'm drinking OJ like crazy because we are off to Dubuque for the weekend tomorrow after work. We had a really fun time in vegas.

Glad to hear you had a great trip. It's always great catching up with old friends. Very nice photo of you by the fountain!

Thanks; it was so good to see them, especially since Tony has had some health issues and I don't know when we'll be back.

I'm happy to hear you are pleased with the settlement from Mark's old job. Now you can really put it behind you.

Yes we can and Mark can start looking for a job when we get back from our September trip.

Hope you're feeling like yourself soon!

I hope so too; this is getting old!

Oooh, a mystery DIS meet!! Love it! :thumbsup2

Yes, a mystery. And I'm not giving in and telling early. You have a week and a day to find out. :)

Wow I was on the ball for this update!!What a great surprise to see the Turtle !!I know Kyle would have been thrilled !!Loved the Flower Carrousel at the Wynn !!I have a feeling I may get conned into going again as my buddy Tony LOVES Vegas !!!

The girls were really thrilled, especially Avery the animal lover. The flowers at the Wynne were stunning.

I saw your balloon purse on facebook... love love LOVE the idea of it :lovestruc

Thank you Emma.

That turtle is awesome my kids would ave loved to see it!

He was really cool!

I love the coin bag what a nice surprise!

Yes it was; warmed my heart.

That is so sweet of Dorine to send you that. Especially knowing it's significance.

She is a gem!

Uh oh does that mean you aren't a fan of Disney Quest. I was planning on stopping by with DD because we have never hit it up before. I thought maybe it would keep her entertained for a couple of hours on our Downtown Disney day. How far away from the Marketplace is it. We are just planning to walk over.

Let's just say the girls had fun and Mary and I were bored. :rotfl: You can walk it; it's near House of Blues.

What a fun day! Can't wait to hear about Quest. I keep going back and fort wondering if Chris would like it or not. I think it is going to wait for grandson's trip.

Wait for the grandson trip. :rotfl:

Love the coin purse. That is so thoughtful. Can't wait to hear about your dis meet.

Thank you; I was delighted when I opened it.

What a thoughtful gift! So cute too!

It is cute, isn't it? It's already in my suitcase for the trip.

Glad you had fun in Vegas and the kids in Ireland!

Thanks, Sheree. We got to look at all of the pics from Ireland last night. I will be posting a few at the end of my next update.

I would have preferred option 2 as well! Relaxing in a lounge chair sounds great! Cool that the girls saw the turtle. Sarah would follow it into the bushes!!

Avery came close to being in those bushes.

I bet I know why you haven't been to DisneyQuest in 15 years - too noisy and too many kids? I have a feeling I would not enjoy it.

Oh I am pretty sure you would NOT enjoy it too. ;)

Great update Kathy. I sure hope you start to feel better soon!

Thanks, D. I just want to not cough!

Glad you received the wallet and you will enjoy it. I must admit - I've had it on my agenda since I made your bag, but I've just been swamped. I told myself I couldn't go to WDW until I finished it. ;) I didn't know you were sick until after I mailed it - so I sure hope it brightened your day anyways. Love to you my friend.

I am still so touched by the thought. As I mentioned above, it is already in my suitcase as I plan to carry it every day. It did brighten my day. Thank you again, my friend.

I would have picked the pool and DTD too... but I will say... I despise DQ - I am glad we went once, but yikes... Nothing like an outdated 80's arcade to fill in the day. LOL However, I do have to say - the girls did enjoy the build your own coaster area, if we do go back (our passes include DQ again this time) - we will probably walk in, do that and leave. LOL

I agree with everything you said about DQ!

Looks like you all had fun at the pool, and hopefully got lots of good relaxing done. :)

D~

We had fun at the pool and the girls got to see a huge turtle...couldn't beat it.

Kathy, That is a whole lot of things going on for you the past few weeks. You need a vacation from your vacation so that you can relax. Perhaps you can take another trip to Disney in September and then spend some time at Marco Island with good friends. :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Good one Bob; and I think I'll take you up on it.

Let me answer a couple of questions you asked. First on my nephew. After being in critical condition following his auto accident he was upgraded to serious condition. He is still in ICU and will be in the hospital for quite some time. Once he does get out he will have months of rehab in a facility. He broke both his femurs along with many, many, many other bones in his body along with internal injuries. He has gone through several surgeries to date and will have many more. They have begun to perform surgery as well on his facial wounds now that he is getting stronger. He is very fortunate that he did not suffer any spinal cord injuries. While he is fortunate to be alive his life will be altered from this accident.

Thanks for the update on your nephew. I continue to keep in my prayers.

Second you asked about Fantasmic; I enjoyed the show but I am glad I did the dinner package. I do not think the show would have been worth waiting in line for an hour or two to get good seating or to even get in. The hype IMHO exceeds the actual show. Would I see it again? sure, but I still enjoy Illuminations at Epcot the best followed by Wishes at the MK. :goodvibes

I'm glad you enjoyed it; no I wouldn't wait in line either. But I do prefer it over Illuminations.

Glad to hear about you and Mark getting a little more compensation from his previous employer; every little bit helps. It still agitates me to no end how he was treated after all those years of dedication he put in. :confused3

I'm just glad to be done with it. All we have to do is sign the seperation agreement when they edit it to show the new amount.

I bet Andy and Des are excited about moving into their new apartment. Before you know it, they will be buying their first new home. August 23rd happens to be the first day Carolyn and I lived in our first apartment together... It was our wedding day 28 years ago. :)

They are; they were there all day Tuesday and Andy informed me Des gave him his first "honey do" list. I in turn told him it was the first of many. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: There better be a ring on her finger BEFORE they buy a house.

I can't wait to hear who your special DIS meet is going to be with. I have a few ideas who it may be but I guess I will just have to wait. I still am amazed at how many people you meet and how many want to meet you. After having met you myself I do understand why. ::yes::

I had to read that twice you know that you are "still amazed at how many people want to meet me." :rotfl2: Oh, you are too sweet; we've loved meeting and visiting with you and Carolyn.

I saw your post on FB about the purse DMGeurts made you. What a very touching thing she did for you. If I carried a purse (and no I do not, LOL) I would be proud to carry that one. Very nice looking purse and a very touching story behind it. :thumbsup2

She is a sweetie and I love my little wallet.

I enjoyed reading about your plan B day. I'm not a big water park fan so this is the route I would have preferred myself. I thought it was neat to see the girls being entertained by that turtle; I'm 50 years old and I would have found that to be entertaining as well. I can't wait to hear about why it has been so long since you have been to Disney Quest. I have never been there myself and not so sure I will be going there anytime soon.

I don't mind the water parks as long as I can park my back end on a chair or go in the lazy river. Oh you will love my story of why I've not been to DQ in that long.

Okay, all caught up again. I missed a lot! Those cute little girls just light up your TR! :cutie::cutie: I love all of the cute pics with Mickey, and the hat pics are great! Miss Cayley really did great lasting through late EMH! I'm surprised they were not wanting to do Fantasmic! Have they seen it before? How did you like the food at MM? I'm trying to decide between H&V or MM for our pkg.

Those girls sure do. Cayley did awesome on our EMH night. They have not seen Fantasmic. We really enjoyed our meals at MM. Personally, I would never eat at H&V again...I'd rather go to McDonalds.

Looks like you had a great time in Vegas - I'm glad you were able to go and meet up with your friends!

We really did; it was good to get away.

I hope your cold is gone now and you are back to feeling like yourself again. It's good that Mark got a bigger settlement. How is the job hunt going? The little balloon bag is so sweet! Sounds like it was great timing for it to arrive, also!

Nope, it is still lingering. The meds from the doctor are helping, but she said the cough could last a couple of weeks. Mark hasn't started looking for a job yet. Baseball ended just before Vegas, and no point in him looking since we are going away for 16 days. He will look when we get home. The balloon bag just warms my heart every time I think about it.

Thanks for your Life Update- I'm glad you had a great time with friends in Vegas, but what a pain to come back with a lingering cold. Hope you are able to relax and recuperate this weekend!

Thanks, Dee. I felt pretty good last Sunday and we went to a village that has a bunch of quaint shops; picked up a few things for the kids new apartment.

That is such a great clutch purse! What a nice gift from a thoughtful friend!

It really is; she is a doll.

I'm glad the girls chose to have some pool time instead of going to the waterpark. So much easier for all of you.

Yes it was, and much more enjoyable with the turtle too!

Cool turtle. How exciting for the girls (and everyone). Um, I think it is a snapper!

I'm pretty sure it was a snapper too; we were sure to tell them NOT to touch it.

I do NOT envy your trip to DQ. There is not enough Excedrin in the World...

You called that one right.

:lmao:

I'm laughing right with you.

I had so much to catch up on! I came straight back from the trip and got right back into starting a new school year. Like you, I got sick, so it's been all I could do to just do regular life things. I told Jill I was going to catch up today on the 3-4 DIS reports I am following.

What is it with everyone getting sick coming back from trips? I think it is the airplanes...they don't clean them good enough.

I sat right there at the kiddie pool with Sophie for a few minutes one evening while Jill and John went to MK with the big girls. Sophie and I did some resort hopping and had ice cream, and she played in the kiddie pool. Another grandmother came along with her granddaughter who was 3, and we had a nice conversation while the girls splashed around. :)

It's a great kiddie pool. How nice that you had someone to talk to while the little girls splashed around.

I saw the bag on fb, it's precious! The pool lounging was definitely the way to go, your pictures look so relaxing! Love the turtle, wonder if he is on the CM payroll?! Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Thanks, Lori. I agree...pool lounging versus following the girls all over while they go down slides is much more relaxing to me. Only if they put "Alli" the alligator on at the Coronado. ;)

Glad you had a great time in Vegas and got to catch up with people!

Thanks, Phil; it really was a great trip.

Also glad you got some more money from Mark's old job - every bit helps!

It sure does!

And that bad D sent you is so sweet -and the story behind it is beautiful!

Thanks; it was such a beautiful surprise.

The pool really is super nice and very well themed - almost looks like a mini-water park!

It really is a great pool area and plenty big (unlike Stormalong Bay which is way too big).

That was a bit of a foreboding last line about Disney Quest though

Oh my...I dread even writing about it.

Glad you had a great time in Vegas and got to catch up with your friends! Sorry the weather wasn't the best and you got sick when you came home. Hope you are feeling better!

Thanks, Jen. Yes, I would have preferred to have left the cold in Vegas.

Also glad you got some more money from Mark's old job, I still think they are "words I can't say"! :rotfl2:

Oh trust me, there are plenty of words I can't say either.

And that wallet D sent you is so sweet -and the story behind it is beautiful! It's so great you do this on every trip! What a great memory and to also make someone's day, you have a beautiful heart! :cloud9:

Thank you...you are very kind.

The pool really is super nice and very well themed! Looks like a lot of fun!

Yes it is; I love the Mickey sand slide.

Disney Quest... wonder what you think. I thought it was really confusing, boring and outdated. But my DH liked it... hahaha boys and games :rotfl:

You pretty much summed up what I think. ;)

Quickly stopping by Kat as I don't have much battery life on my phone but them food pics look great! It looks like you and the girls had fun! ;)

Hi, friend. Thanks; the food was awesome and we had a blast.

I'll have to finish replies after we go to the eye doctor and grocery shopping.

Hey Kathy, feeling better yet? I sure hope so.

Wendy, better, but not 100%.

Vegas looks & sounds lovely!

Some of those hotels are simply gorgeous.

Your surprise from DMGeurts is absolutely precious. I love the Mickey balloon.
How thoughtful!~

It was so very sweet of her. :)

Ahh a relaxing day by the pool beats a water park for me any day! Looks like the girls had lots of fun too.

They did; they are both water lovers and then to find a turtle on top of it. :)

I hope you are all recovered from your cold.

Not yet, but getting there.

I didn't know you were going to meet up with so many people in Vegas. And Mary, too! Wow!

We had the plans scheduled with our friends from here (Steve and Ingrid) when we originally booked the trip; then Mary found out and said they would come up for the weekend and then I called are old friends. It was great seeing everyone.

Fun pics from Vegas.

Thank you.

Glad that Mark got a little bit more $ even though its not what you were hoping for.

Better than nothing is my theory.

I love all the pictures of the main pool at OKW. Cynthia and I never went there, but since Denny and I will be pool hopping in October maybe we'll just head there.

You should; then you can get a Turtle Krawl (or two).

OK - I think I know who your DIS meet is but I'm not going to say anything. :goodvibes

You do, do you?

I'm sorry that the cold really took it's toll on you. Summer colds really are the worst.

They are horrible; and, unfortunately, still lingering.

I haven't been back to Vegas in a few years. The last time we went it was for New Year's Eve, and the quantity of people around was just insane! I'm glad you guys had a great time.

No way you would catch me there on New Year's Eve.

Purple zebra?! That drink looks tasty. What was in it?

It was a dacquiri bar, but they also had Pina Coladas and that is what I had. :)

That was such a lovely gift from D.

Yes it was.

Pool days are always great too. Truthfully, if we offered the boys the two options, I don't know which one they would pick....probably the pool. Instant gratification.

Smart boys!

I love pool days. Rick, not so much.:confused3 He loves to go, go, go!! I'm sure that as Madelyn gets older, she's going to change that behavior!:lmao:

Sheresa, Mark gets very upset if I don't schedule him pool time. :rotfl:

I'm glad to see that you're feeling better. Summer colds are the worst. Ever. And I'm also glad that your attorneys wanted to go back. Mark should get what he deserves. Truly.

Thanks; it's getting there, but still lingering. And we knew Mark would never get what he truly deserved, but at least he got something.

I have never been to DisneyQuest. Doesn't appeal to me at all. I can feel the tone of this update coming.......

You are a smart woman!

I am so sorry you brought home a cold as a souvenir from vegas. Somehow, I do not thing that is the right souvenir.

That is definitely not the souvenir I wanted to bring home.

Love the pool pics. I am excited to see the pool in October. It was closed in January...so this will be pretty neat.

I hope you get to use it too.

The turtle is pretty cool! I have seen them in the water but never on the land.

Yes, I've often seen a lot of smaller turtles in the water, but never that big of one and on land.

I am pretty sure I know exactly why you have not been to DQ in quite a while... I have been once and that was plenty for me. ;)

I am so glad it is not just me.

Yay for option number 2!!!!

I was in agreement.

I love the main OKW pool, of course walking distance to the gurgling suitcase doesn't hurtbut the whole vibe is just pure relaxation.

It certainly is a huge benefit being able to walk to the Gurgling Suitcase.

How fun about the turtle :)

The girls really enjoyed that.

what a cute little bag with such a sweet meaning.

Thank you; it truly is a treasure.

Wow that pool area really is nice, the theming is so cool.

It's one of my top three favorites!

So fun about the girls finding the turtle. Those turtles often find their way onto the streets near our home, we have some good neighbors that help them out of the street, and my husband has once, but then we have a few neighbors that drive so fast and just don't care :sad2:

Ugh...shame on those bad neighbors!

Looking forward to reading about your DisneyQuest adventure. My husband and I had fun going there on our honeymoon 10 years ago, but haven't taken the boys yet.

I'm going to try to get to it tonight.

Ahhh DisneyQuest. I remember being SO happy when DS was able to take the boat and go by himself arcades are not my thing...unfortunately my DS13 wants to check it out (he's too young to remember it).

I suggest you let DH take DS13 and you and the girls go shopping. ;)

LOVE the pool pics! Glad you're feeling better, and so happy you and Mark had a great trip to Vegas! That little bag from DM is adorable, what a gift she has..and what a lovely friend :goodvibes

You are going to love the pool! Better, but not 100%. We did have a great time, and D is the best!

YAY! picking your option 2!!!

Thank you girls!

I'm not going to lie.. I would have been all giddy too had i seen the turtle! HE IS SO COOL!!!! Didn't know they were there!

In our previous stays at OKW, we had never seen one.

Your resort is really beautiful. AND i am really loking forward to hearing about your Disney quest adventure. Wondering IF i want to take the kids there. Matt being the gamer and all... popcorn::

It's a great resort. I would tell you no, but you may feel differently on this birthday trip for the kids.

Glad your feeling a bit better! and D is a fantastic person.

Yes she is.

I hope you are feeling better! Looks like you had a great time in Vegas!

Getting there, Katie, and we did have a great time.

How sweet of Ms. D to send you the purse! Very, very nice.

Yes it was and I will treasure it.

It's neat the girls got to see that turtle "in action", so to speak. Very cool.

Slow action, but they had a blast.

Hope you're feeling better!

Thanks, Mark; slow, but getting there.

Nice to hear a little good news there.

It helps until he decides what he is going to do.

But I didn't get a call to set up a meet.:confused3:rotfl:

I am hoping we will meet again one day. I have still not met the lovely ladies in your life or the newest addition.

Glad you had a good time in Vegas. You spent more time there than we did!:rotfl2:

We did; won a little money and had a great time with friends.

Such a great and thoughtful gift!

It truly was.

No Crush 'n Gusher? :sad1:

Not for this old girl.

Cool! Just keep those fingers away.

For sure.

Sounds like you guys had a great time in Vegas!

We did, Darla.

For the Disney update - looks like a wonderful morning! Much more relaxing than heading to the water park.

I so agree, Darla. No running around...just sitting and relaxing.

Vegas looked really fun! Sorry again about the cold but glad it seems like it's getting better.

Thanks, Clare.

I'm glad the girls picked the pool option. And that turtle is so cool! What a thing to see. Sounds like you had a nice relaxing morning.

It was a great morning to start the day.

Oh my gosh that turtle! He looks like a snappy guy to me!

I'm pretty sure he was a snappy guy.

Vegas looks like it was a great time.

It was; but boy has it gotten a little stranger than it was the last time I was there. Okay, a lot stranger.

The wallet is so so sweet!!! What a thoughtful and lovely gift!

Yes it is; she is a sweetheart, but then so are all my DIS friends.

It looks like ya'll had a blast in Vegas. I love carrousels and that one looks amazing!

It was gorgeous; the work that must have gone into it...oh my.

I'm not gonna lie...I totally teared up when I saw the change purse. A balloon for you! How thoughtful was that!

I did too; such a sweet and thoughtful gesture.

The pool area is beautiful. Glad the girls found that turtle. That is so cool!

It's a great pool, and the turtle was awesome.

DH and I did that last night as well. Such a sad loss :(

I'm still in shock and still so upset. I feel like I lost a friend. I feel so bad for his children and family. And I want to just strangle those that have been posting cruel things on his daughter's social media.

Well, at least it is better than nothing. :thumbsup2

Totally agree Andy.

:thumbsup2 Nicely done, Mark.

You don't think he'd let you guys down, do you?

That first picture with the bird might just be one of his better hat pictures, though.

I have to agree; I was cracking up taking that picture.

How fitting!

Yes it is.

So they are almost as excited about a "turtle crawl" as you are? :confused3

Not quite the same "turtle crawl" silly boy!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I haven't even told you why.

All caught back up again here, too. I know I keep falling behind in my posts, but I am reading along. But it is fun to have a couple of updates at a time!! ;)

Linda, no worries...truly. I'm just hoping I can get this done before our next trip...we leave 5 weeks from tomorrow. :crazy2:

Surprised the girls opted to skip out on the water park. AT the cost of those places, I would have to get a pretty sweet deal to choose to do one again.

Well, we hadn't paid for it, so that was good. Trust me, DQ wasn't all that much cheaper.

Your day at the Studios looked like fun. Not surprised the girls were too pooped to do Fantasmic.

I think if we had skipped the pool that morning, it might of been attempted. But the pool tends to wear them out.

No desert?!!!! :upsidedow

I should have just ordered my own.

Hoping you are feeling better by now. Glad you enjoyed your trip to Vegas!

I'm hoping I feel better over the weekend...lots of plans with the kids.

Just saying H!!Hope everything is going well for you and Mark!!!

We are doing fine, Rosie. Just trying to get over my cold, helping Andy pack for his move and getting ready to go see Mark and Alisha this weekend.

OmGoodness...that turtle!!! That is so amazing that they found it in the playground...and it was BIG! Yes, that was quite a find, girls! :goodvibes

I wonder how long he was hiding "under" the sand with all that sand on his shell. They were so excited when they came to tell us about it.

Looks like you had a great time in Vegas! So cool to hang out with Disfriends outside of Disney! :thumbsup2

It really was; we had a good time with Mary and Jeff.

Okay, I had hoped to do an update tonight, but I'm still tired from this cold. I promise to get it done at work tomorrow. In the meantime, we saw all of the Ireland pictures last night, and these were my favorite.

The photo of Andy and Des with the castle in the background is stunningly gorgeous! Such a beautiful country!

Of course, you've got to love that there are Disney stores in Ireland!

Love the Ireland pictures! Glad someone knows how to take pictures. The Disney store is so cute. I love the photo of them exploring the ruins.

I hope you are feeling better today.

Glad everything is good with you !!

Thanks, Rosie; are things slowing down for you at all?

The photo of Andy and Des with the castle in the background is stunningly gorgeous! Such a beautiful country!

Thank you; it's one of my top three.

Of course, you've got to love that there are Disney stores in Ireland!

And they didn't have a single pin with Ireland on it for them to bring back to me. :crazy2:

:shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock:

HOW AWESOME! I LOVE the Ireland Disney store!!! Just look how beautiful everything is there.. 8 more years hope to be there!!!

It is really green and there are LOTS of sheep. They had one picture where they were behind a bunch of cows while driving. It was hysterical.

Man, Ireland looks fantastic. I hope I get to see it someday.

They really loved it. Next year, they are talking Italy possibly. It all depends on money as they still have two trips this year...Cancun for five days (friend is getting married) and Florida for two weeks right after Christmas.

A couple of posts above are the final pictures of Ireland (at the end of a long group of replies).

I want to get this day finished as we leave five weeks from today and I still have 2-1/2 days to do after I finish this day. And we are going to see the kids in Dubuque this weekend so no DIS time for me.

So the girls, Mary and I got ready and we headed to the boat dock to take the boat to Downtown Disney to go to Disney Quest:

Our captain

His cute passengers

Some scenery

Soon we were seeing this

and this

and this

We departed the boat and made our way over to Disney Quest. I paid my admission (the girls and Mary already had ours) and inside we went.

This is the first place we stopped:

And the results

Then we were here

and then here

continued in next post

Continued from previous post

More of the Pirates thing:

I know the girls went back at least once or twice to build their own coaster but I didn't get any more pictures.

The important thing is the girls had a blast. Mary and I...we went and got a snack upstairs. :rotfl2::rotfl2: Just not our thing.

And for those who wondered, we went the first year it opened with our boys. I hated it then! The next trip they asked if we could go again and I was a bad mommy (as opposed to a bad bad baby). I told them it closed because no one was going. :lmao:

After that, we strolled toward our dinner destination but stopped for a few pictures along the way.

This was Avery and I while Mommy had to make a family phone call:

Passing the Cauldron Candy store:

Stopped in the store where all the vinlymations are. Mary wanted this to take home:

Avery was making Mr. Mark happy:

And then there was Cayley:

continued in next post

We arrived at our dinner location:

We were a little early but they seated us anyway. We had an ideal spot...right near the stage and right next to one of the stair platforms where they perform.

I ordered one of my favorite drinks at Disney

I believe this was my salad (unless it was Mary's...I can't remember at this point)

The bread (which the girls did not like)

Mary's sheppard's pie

Avery had soup and salad

Cayley had mac and cheese and salad

Hmmm....I have no picture of my food. I must have just had a ceasar salad that evening (could have sworn I ordered a burger :confused3)

The dancing began and the girls were all into it and then were asked if they wanted to join:

We had a great dinner and loved watching the dancers.

We settled up the tab and then went outside to do some shopping. On the way, I had Cayley hold up my purchases that I had made for Des' birthday for their trip to Ireland:

Continued in next post

We headed towards the Goofy Candy Store. I think Avery and mom went to the bathroom and Cayley and I took a seat to wait

We then went here

And here

Had to get this picture

Went into the big Disney store

And then the picture I got in trouble with their daddy for:

Yes, I have got the girls loving their Starbucks. So much so that they can both order their own fancy drink without any help. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

We took a bus back to OKW (what a nightmare that was). We headed back to the room and let the girls play for awhile and then hit the hay. We had a long day up ahead...we were going to be WILD again.

Ahhh, Kathy, you don't like a huge multi-storied building full of dinging, blinging, zapping, loud video games? What's up with that? No, seriously, I wasn't that big of a fan of Disney Quest myself but Hunter and John loved it. The girls having a good time is all that mattered anyway.

I've never eaten at Raglan Road but the salads look absolutely delicious. I'm a big fan of any kind of salad. Is is similar to Rose & Crown or better?

Wonderful updates.

I wasn't thrilled with DisneyQuest, but it has been requested again. This time I will find the snack bar and let the kids do their own thing.

We love going into Little Mismatched. We did that while we were trying to kill time at DTD at DLR. We spent about 20 minutes pairing socks. :rotfl: It gave us something to do.

Chelsea has never been to a Starbucks. That is more for the sake of my wallet than it is anything else.

Your Raglan Road experience seemed much better than ours. Ours was so bad, I may not return. We were seated in the very back inside the bar. They had a table of about 8 men at the big table, right next to us that were falling of their stools drunk. When the dancers came by and asked Chelsea to dance, they got up too and ended up stomping on Chelsea's foot twice. They just laughed and thought it hilarious. I was ready to be banned from Disney for life. :furious:

Sorry you're still not at 100% Kathy  How COOL they found a Disney Store in Ireland...and I LOVE the idea of DH and DS going to DisneyQuest and taking the girls to shop. I want to check out the co-op store:goodvibes
