I Am Back On The Boards!!!

Hi all

Not sure if anyone noticed but I have not been on here for a few months!!!

This is the reason why.....A few months ago I was carrying a basket of dirty washing down the stairs (dont we all do that!!) and I had my 'stupid' slippers on (my husband calls them that!!) I had to much washing in the basket and slipped at the top of the stairs........I cam crashing down and not in a dainty way!!

I broke both wrists, an elbow , collar bone and my kneecap!.

So for the last few months been in plastercast in more than one place!!. The last cast came off on yesterday ......just in time for my holiday!!

So just wnated to say hello to everyone and that I have missed you all

Cant really do a pretrip report as I am going to Bulgaria.....also until I was told that I did not need another cast on Wednesday it was doubtful I was goimg....my mum was going to take my place

Now I am not sure if my DH is pleased I am going or not as mum would have been the free babysitter all holiday and he could have had lots of nights out

I am really well now...it was hard at first and of course I was off work but my mum was my Florence Nightingale!!

Sam is doing well he had another minor op 4 weeks ago which went really well and it maybe his last!

Thanks Carol but we are OK for talc as we are not using it so much now

OMG! I had wondered where you were - I kept meaning to text to see if you were ok, and feel terrible that I didn't. I kept thinking you'd be around soon, and I haven't been on that much....but less of the excuses

I'm really glad you seem well on the road to recovery, you poor thing. At least you are better in time to enjoy your holiday. When do you go?

Hi All
Thank you all for you welcome back wishes!!

KRISTIE - Sam said he would rather watch the re-runs of the cup over & over again than wear a Liverpool kits (he also wants to me to inform you that Gerrard was rubbish in the world cup...and Dean Ashton will out skill him this year!!)

He is stood here asking if you could email a photo of Seren in the Liverpool kit and I will send you one of him in the new West Ham Away Kit!!...He also wants to say a big hello to Scott (and me too!!)...hows the wedding details going??
