Those cakes look absolutely delicious and I have never heard or seen cheesecake brownie before I think a trip to that bakery is in order in August.
We always visit Boardwalk Bakery at least once during a trip to WDW - sometimes we don't actually buy anything (selection seems to vary depending on the time of day you visit) but we always love to look.
I just love it over here. Both erudite and earthy, my favorite combination.
If there are circles of hell does that mean that there are circles of heaven? If so, what do I have to do to reach concierge level? Just wondering.
Oh, SG ... I have missed your comments.

You may be the first,
and last, person to use the word erudite in relation to anything that I've done. Unless you are referring to the readership, in which case I agree completely.
You know ... I've never stopped to think about circles of Heaven before. I'm not of any particular religious denomination, so most of what I know I either picked up from medieval history and literature classes in college or by asking totally obnoxious but well-meaning questions at wedding ceremonies.
I'm with you ... I'd like to know how to make it to the Heavenly concierge level.
I make those brownies for my oldest grandson. Only difference is that I swirl the cheesecake part in for a mixed brownie. Easy, trust me.
Duly noted - some day when I feel like cooking again I may give it a go. I think a Bailey's Irish Cream cheesecake would be great mixed with a chocolate brownie, don't you?
Ducks are not so bad. On a plate, covered with la orange sauce they are quite tasty. I do not blame the ducks at DW near as much as I do the folks who insist on feeding them. I have a picture of people doing such with the 'Please do not feed the birds" sign right by their table.

I think I've seen a few of those people myself.
I am off to see if I can find my sash cause I am feeling a bit chilly this morning. Send money. True, Goofy can be bought.
I would respond in a better manner but I am currently fighting a beautiful case of pneumonia and lack of breathing has affected what few brain cells I have remaining.
SG/Linda
I'm flattered that you even bothered to respond at all considering how ill you must be right now. I had pneumonia once and it totally sucked ... I hope you start to feel better soon and thanks for stopping by to read.
Brenda - thanks for the cruise advice! I am always lurking out here - I love your posts - and yes the cheesecake brownies are very easy to make, even I make them!!
We leave in just nine weeks for six at OKW. If I knew how to make a ticker I would - technically challenged!!
Now - what's the difference in a balcony or a verandah?
Six weeks in WDW ... ahhhhh, I can only dream of such bliss. I hope you have a great trip! I would try to help you with a vacation ticker but I, too, am technically challenged. At work, our IT department has a picture of me covered by a circle with a line drawn through it. Strange and bizarre things are always happening to my computer ... sometimes all I have to do is sign on to a program and the whole hard drive will just melt down.
Bad computer karma ... it's a gift.
There is no difference between a balcony and a verandah on a cruise that I know of. I tend to call them verandahs because that's what
Disney Cruise Line calls them and that's the cruise line we've sailed. Other cruise lines call them balconies. As far as I can tell they're the same thing. But now you've got me thinking ... what other synonyms are out there for balcony?
verandah ... gallery ... piazza ... lanai ... I think I'll stop now before synonym sickness takes me for its own.
We've frequented BW Bakery many times and I think the cheesecake brownie is my fave!! We did love Casey's, what's not to love?

Can't wait for the Bistro review, after reading their menu posted outside I could have kicked myself for not trying it.
You must try Bistro on your next visit - it was divine! Overall I would rate it right behind Victoria and Albert's, it was that good.
If any part of your 15% Imo's self is cheeseburger pizza, that might explain why I like you so much. Mmmmm....
My FIL likes Imo's so much he has them shipped to him here in MI.
We've started discussing a trip back to SL...
Great report, once again.
[SG/Linda - welcome back!

I am a stick in the mud when it comes to Imos and have never tried their cheeseburger pizza. I have to be careful with Imos ... I love it but now and then for some reason it upsets my delicate innards. Ahhh, the joys of IBD.
I had no idea Imos could be shipped! My brother-in-law in Milwaukee would probably wet himself if he knew that. I'll make a note to remind myself to tell him the next time we see him in person - I want to test my theory that he will indeed wet his pants when he hears the news.
A return to Stinktown? You must let me know if anything comes of it ... we could try to find a way to meet and have some chewy beer!
Gah! Remind me not to look at sinful baked goods while hungry.

Those items looked really good, even the strange candy confetti cake.
They were yummy!
I'm with you about the brownie and the cheesecake guy inventor

I love cheesecake and the brownie is a bonus. Love your report Brenda as always.
Thanks Laura! Cheesecake ... yummy yummy yummy!
Oh my holy SNORT laugh!!!! I absolutely HOWLED in a most unladylike fashion at that picture of the duck preparing to chomp your leg! Your bravery is astounding...I'd have been running not picture snapping!
Don't get me wrong...I love ducks. Ducks are my favorite bird...I had a duck when I was little...naturally her name was Jemima...Puddle Duck...cuz i was three and had little of my own creativity...and was a major Beatrix Potter fan...anyhow...my theory of WHY the ducks are acting out is because they are in desperate need of boundaries, They haven't been given the proper discipline and guidance a duck needs to operate in polite society...so they get...y'know...crabby...and anxious...and need some therapy and perhaps some xanax...
*ahem*
poor ducks.
hope your serious duck injury didn't stop you from having a fabulous time!!
So glad you are back!!! I too have just returned from a less than stellar posting history. My mom yelled at me though...shamed me...so I'm going to try and keep things on track. When I'm not shaping young minds I'll be pounding out that TR!!!
more please!!!!
Campbell!!!

You used the word snort so I'm going to assume that means you inhaled or spewed your Diet Coke while you were reading.
How the heck are you? I do hope things have settled down for you and the family. Once I get my DIS-bearings I need to catch up on your TR and about 50 others as well. I'm really glad to see you're back!
Your behavioral analysis of the Disney Ducks intrigues me and if I were a foundation instead of a middle class Midwestern schmo with no real disposable income to speak of I would drop lots of money in your lap so that you could do further research.
Your mom yelled at you about posting? Wow. Grimace would be like this:
"You need to post? Do you mean the post office or the fence post?"
I actually start feeling guilty when it's been a while between posts here ... like I'm shirking my duty or something. Over-developed sense of responsibility ...
Brenda... are you sure that duck wasn't wearing a blue shirt and a sailors cap?
That duck was nekkid! But now that I think about it, maybe that's why he was in such a bad mood.
Thanks for the updates!
I think some drool escaped my mouth looking at those desserts. I started my diet 3 days ago.

I agree with you 100% about the confetti, I don't like it in my cake either but my kids would have found it to be a great bonus.
As far as birds go, our parakeets are very gentle.

However, I have encountered some very savage seagulls. Many a time I've seen them rip into the food of unsuspecting people at the beach who thought that a plastic bag would keep their food safe. And a whole evil gang of them assaulted my car one time - and left it in such a state that is not fit to be described in a thread about food.
Looking forward to Bistro. I need all this virtual food to help me with my dieting.
Thanks for coming back to read after that 6-week hiatus I took!
I feel your pain with the diet ... I am once again trying to improve my eating habits and give up the junk food in favor of healthier choices. But it's a hard habit to break. Good luck to you - I'm sure you'll do great!
We've seen some pretty aggressive birds over at Portofino Bay. There's a restaurant there where you can eat on the plaza and we were having breakfast one morning a few years ago and watched as birds buzzed the tables and took food off plates when people had turned away or left the table. Scary, and further proof that bird are jerks.
