how to redeem Disney Visa rewards

So was that like your 50 reward points?How long after you got your card did they send it to you?I still havent gotten anything like that when I was suppossed to get it after my first purchase.

This was separate. I think it depends on which offer you apply through. For some it's reward points, and others it's a $50 gift certificate/card. I got my $50 gift card a couple of weeks after I made my first purchase.

Hi! Am trying to talk my DH into getting this card for a future family trip. I read there is a limit of $750/year in reward dollars. Besides transfers, are there puchases/credits to the visa that don't earn rewards? Am looking at what we can charge each month to earn reward points.

If DUT requires you to pay the balance before arrival, you won't be able to use the rewards card.

If you are paying the balance once at WDW, the CM at the hotel check-in desk can just swipe the rewards card, like any other purchase you might use the rewards card for. I believe they'll still take your CC imprint in case your charges run over, but they would do that however you choose to pay your balance. Hope that makes sense!

I already ordered the card and transferred over the minimum amount required to order it but want to wait until the last possible moment to transfer over my remaining rewards balance....is it instant or does it take a few day?

Once you have the rewards card, it's an instant transfer. I did this once WHILE we were on our WDW trip. I've also done it on the way out to the mall to shop at Disney Store. Very easy.

It expires Sept 30.

It's at Epcot, Innovations West, daily from 1:30 to 4:30p.

It's one free photo per account, per day. The characters change frequently and there's no way to know who will be in the room when it's your turn.

One per DAY...are you sure? That would be awesome!

Thanks for the heads up. I was planning on waiting until around the first of Sept to order ours. Our trip is Sept 22nd-30th and I just assumed I had plenty of time and wanted to allow time for any last minute charges to be added for extra reward points. Should I order it now?

No you can transfer over any amount as long as it is over the $20 minimum (and I think it is only $20 the first time and $10 after that...but I could be wrong). I did the $20 in order to have the card in my home for when we need it.

And I was successful in transfering over more since then and it IS instant!!

One thing about transferring the rewards, they do have any expiration date on the Rewards card that is sooner than the actual rewards expire if not transferred. Just be sure not to transfer the rewards if you are not going to use them. The Rewards card that I requested last summer had an expiration date of 12/08 when the actual rewards if not transferred expired in 2012. Just be sure not to transfer something that might not be used! These rewards cards can be refilled but be sure again that the expiration date on the card is not too soon or you can request a new rewards card and that will have a date further in the future. Just to let you know.

Just my two cents....

If you do happen to have rewards on a card that is about to expire, I was told you can buy a Disney Gift Card and use the rewards card to pay for it. The gift cards don't expire so you wouldn't be losing the rewards. This sounds like a loophole to me and I didn't believe it when I heard it, but I have asked the folks at the Disney Store on more than one occasion and have gotten a "yes" every time. JMO... please someone correct me if I am wrong....

The stroller rental is just at Disneyland, I think.

Offically giftcards and disney dollars are not purchasable with the rewards card but some have been able to do so, just depends on your store.
