How to make photos smaller in size (not MB)

Can someone please tell me how to make photos smaller in size, not MB. For example, dragged the photo below from my desktop, and it shows up so big in here which takes up a lot of room in my trip reports. Would appreciate any help!

Glad you figured it out. I usually resize with a photo program I have (pretty simple - AC/DC)
