How to cut small dies that came with Cuttlebug mach.?

I just bought a Cuttlebug and it came with 4 small dies that look like postage stamps. I can't figure out how to cut these. I have done the embossing folders and layered them A, B, folder with paper, B. I tried all different ways with the dies and couldn't figure it out. It came with a small square that said you had to use with it but not how to layer it. Everything I tried was either too thick and wouldn't go through the mach. or not thick enough. HELP!! I know it can't be that hard. I'm missing something!!

When I use the small dies, I make my sammie like this
From bottom to top...

A
B
Die face up
Paper
B

Then I just roll it through

If it's not working for you like that, I'd try shimming between A and B with cardstock till it works. Maybe your die is a tad thinner or something

Sometimes the dies are really hard to get through. Just keep going I haven't broken a plate yet.

I did, but it was because I was trying to use several sheets of cs at once like with my sizzix
