I was 37 when we bought, although I was only 6 weeks from turning 38.

I was 24 when we bought in and DH was 28 (we bought in in 1999). I will be 68 and DH will be 72 when our contracts are up, so I think our timing is perfect to enjoy it throughout our lives.

As I said back on page one, I answered in the age group I am in now (mid to upper 50's), but when we purchased, we were in our late 40's. We will be in our 90's when our conracts are up.

Wouldn't you know that my recent birthday jumped me up an age group. Of course, I'll always have been 37 when I bought--too bad for me that I was 28 or 29 when I first thought about it.

We went to Disney for our honeymoon in September of 2000 when I was 24 and bought spontaneously as a wedding gift for ourselves. It has been great taking advantage of vacationing without kids. No kids yet, but everytime we go we always think, someday when we have kids this is going to be even more fun!

We bought during our trip last summer. I am 36 and my dh is 31 (I was 35 then) luckily got the BWV...this was our first choice. I want to thank the people at the pool at the BWV...they were DVC members visiting there for the members only party. They were the ones who convinced my dh (I buy anything and didn't need convincing) There were 3 men and I don't recall their names...one gentleman gave us passes to attend the member party, but we weren't able to attend...Whoever you are, if you remember talking to a nurse from NH her dh and we were seen with 3 kids...it was us and thank you thank you!

dd14, ds10, dd2 All my kids love anything Disney...so we hope to enjoy this for a very LONG time.

We are going in April...bringing my parents! We can't wait! It will be soooo cool the kids are excited to be going with their Nanny and Grampy...

I'm really curious to see how many of the "over-40-er's" and "fifty-somethings" bought... It really proves that WDW is for EVERYBODY! Practically speaking, we'll be lucky if we see 20 yrs. of use - but my son, who is now 11...

My DH and I were 52 when we bought at SSR in Nov 2003. We've taken at least 20 family trips to WDW since 1973. My son and his wife are 29 and own BWV. Our 8 month old grandson will inherit SSR (and, of course, BWV) -- I think it's pretty cool that he'll be able to enjoy it with his children. Since he'll have it until he's 50! , he may even be able to take his own grandchildren!

We are now 57 and 58 and bought in 1994. At that time OKW (AKA Vacation Club) had the nickname "Geriatric Resort". I am so glad to see sooooooooo many young people able to purchase. So many vacations to look forward to.

I just turned 31, and DH is almost 29. Our DD's are 4 1/2 & 2 1/2. We are expecting our third child in July.

We've been members since Oct. 2001 (VWL).
