How much of a savings through AAA??

Hi I am booked for April 12 through April 18. I will be at ALL star movies and have dining package as well as park hoppers. The price I have from my local travel agency is about $2000 and before I make final payment, I just realized I should probably call AAA and check their package price. (DOn't know why I never thought of it before) ANyways, AAA is closed today and anyone have price comparisons disney price compared to AAA. My week is peak season if that helps....Thanks in advance!!!

I've been checking myself and have found you only save on the room itself, 10% to 15%. Nothing else is discounted. You do have to pay the whole thing at booking. I've decided to book a aaa discount room thru disney itself, and wait to see if any specials come out as the date gets closser. When booking a plan through disney, you can't use aaa. Only when its just the room. Any other questions feel free to ask. Hope this helps. Tina

15% off values and moderates during regular and peak season
10% off deluxes

No AAA discounts during holiday season

Not sure how packages work, you have to make those reservations through your AAA office.

Thanks. I feel better I guess I will go through with my present ressie...My dh is complaining of our package price but what can you expect with peak season/easter week? It was his idea and its his wallet

I booked my package with AAA.
Got the dining plan and free water park, park hopper upgrade but lost the AAA room discount. Basicly cost the same as booking straight through disney but get the extra perks (parking pass, story time)
