How much for daily maid service?

On mousesavers board it mentions that DVC provides for maid service once per week unless you pay extra for daily service. Does anyone know how much daily service runs?

studio: $25 per day
one bedroom: $30 per day
two bedroom: $40 per day

Housekeeping is also not exactly "once a week". If you are staying eight nights or less, on the 4th day you will get "Trash & Towel". This involves emptying the trash (there are easily accesible bins if you want to throw things out yourself), replacing the bathroom linens, facial tissue, paper towels & toilet paper (paper good extras are available if necessary at any time), replenishing coffee set-up, dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent, sponges & laundry detergent.

If you stay more than 8 nights, on the 4th day you will get a complete cleaning of the unit, on the 8th day you will get the Trash & Towel and this will repeat every 4 days until you check-out.

You partially addressed an issue my DH and I were discussing just last night in bed (yes, we talk Disney in bed - and I bet we're not the only ones!).

Our next trip will be the first time staying at BCV as members. Are you still provided with the same amenties as cash ressies - i.e. laundry detergent, soap and shampoo, etc. It seems from your post that they are.

If you reserve a room through CRO/WDWTC and are paying cash, you will receive daily housekeeping and the amenities will be replaced each day as needed.

If you are staying on points, renting from a DVC member or staying using the 25% member cash discount, you receive housekeeping services according to the DVC member schedule. It's not daily. The amenities are replaced only on T & T day or full cleaning day (including the days you pay to have extra housekeeping services). You will not necessarily receive enough for your entire party or your entire stay.

Just another quick word. Most of us DVC members have come to kind of like the non-housekeeping. IT is nice to not have folks coming in and out of your unit, and we find it easy to make the bed in the morning, or not make it if that is what you chose. If you are staying in a studio, it is probably more important for you to have housekeeping, since that is more like a hotel room. We find we do just fine with Trash and Towel and the full cleaning day. We usually bring our own shampoo, and they do replace those items on the 4th day anyway with T&T.
