How many weeks until BF.

does anybody know a web site that talks about bf????i found a web site last year that talked about all the sales before hand and i for got to save it in my favorites.i sure would like to find it again as i go to this sale everyear...thanks

I also do most of my BF shopping online...Thursday night! :) Last year we went to WM around 11 am to pick up other things & I took a chance & asked the electronics department if they still had any of the GBAs for $40. They pulled out a big box & handed me the two I wanted...for the kids for THIS Christmas. :) I was shocked!!!

will be talking about the BF deals as soon as they are leaked. Usually this is at least a week or two beforehand. There will also probably be several black friday specific websites popping up a few weeks early.

For the last couple years, my wife and I have left the kids with grandma (we usually spend thanksgiving with her) to go hit the stores around 4-5am. Walmart is pretty scary, but we got some great deals on xmas presents. Giant stuffed care bears and tiggers for $10 and lots of other stuff.

For us, the craziness is part of the fun.

I am another who is waiting until BF to look for a DVD for our trip. Dh thinks we don't need it for the girls but I want to my sanity and the other fliers. :rotfl2:

I already got my Mom lined up to watch the girls. I usualy take them with me at 5 am but Mom is off so I am giving the girls a break. (DH always works that day)

After DD2 was born (older DD's usually sleep over their dad's), BF was out of the question before she wakes up, and I'm definetly not doing shopper's battle with her in tow. I sometimes go to a few stores I know are not usually crowded that day, and just buy some online non crazy sale items (so I can feel involved with BF-I'm a bargain shopper at heart) if MIL comes by to watch her. This year, I'm in the market for a digital camera for DD12, and a dvd recorder for DH's birthday (haven't checked the calendar to see if BF is before or after his B'day), and possibly GBA or clothes for DD16. I have already started my Xmas shopping for everyone, and usually continue all year, as I find bargains. Can't wait for BF!

I agree about the online shopping at midnight the night before! No lines and no alarm clock to set. I am hoping to be finished before Black Friday and be able to enjoy the season with the rest of my family. :flower:

A friend and his girlfriend always go out to the stores on BF. In the past (before DD was born) we'd split the stores and that helped a bunch! So if you have a friend who also shops BF try seeing if you were both heading to some of the same stores. (Although when there's a limit it is harder)

I believe gotta deal just put the bf boards up today. I may not have the site right, but I think it is blackfriday@gottadeal.com . They don't have any ads yet but their message boards are open.

That will be our last day of our disney vacation (sigh) Maybe I`ll catch a good sale at the airport. <teary eyes>

Woohoo... its getting closer! Officially its next month now!  I could go online and buy stuff, but I love actually getting out in the crowds and experiencing it..I know, call me crazy!! :rotfl2:

It's been a tradition in my family for many many years to go out on Black Friday. We have Thanksgiving dinner and then go through the ads. Kids in the family know that their Christmas list MUST be done for review on Thanksgiving - we send them out to play and decide who's getting what for whom.

In years past we've stood in line for Barbies, Furbys, Game Boys and even Cabbage Patch dolls. We've even been photographed as "one of those families who shops together". However, our kids are almost all too old for all this fun stuff, and have graduated to electronics. But that's usually a good BF item too.

To whoever posted the Black Friday site, many thanks. I had lost the link when I changed computers.

Just a few more weeks to go!

The Black Friday sales haven't been as good the past few years. I'm hoping they have some good sales this year but I'm not counting on it. Maybe I'm just spoiled by BF sales of the past.

Only two things I planned getting is DVD Recorder and digital camera.

If I don't find a cheap DVD Recorder. I have one in the layway at Wal-Mart I'm get get.

The digital camera is a different story becaused I waon't that take standard memory cards and having trouble find one that does. Digital cameras I find take XD Picture cards.
