2000 Honda Accord with over 130 K.
2007 Honda Accord with over 80K.

We keep up the maintenance and are hoping to wear these cars out!

we have a 1994 Accord we got new and the odometer quit at 140000...over 10 years ago...so I would guess 300,000 plus..lol

2008 Toyota Sienna...65,000

Buick Terraza - 120,000 and Jeep Wrangler 100,000

No vehicle payment now, but looking to get a new one soon. Looks like there might be some pretty expensive repairs on the Terraza in the near future. We have been without a payment for about 5 months and it has been wonderful. I was hoping to make it to 150,000 miles, but didn't quite make it.

2006 Toyota Sienna - coming up on 80k, it will be paid off 1/12 (0% fin) - hoping to make it last at least 6 years past pay off date - based on past mileage, that should take us to 200k or so. By then, kids will be teens & planning for this to be my last minivan.

1998 Buick Park Ave 170k - MIL hand-me-down & DH's commuter car -just sank a stupid amt of $ into repairs but figured it was still cheaper than another beater car with an unknown history. Hoping that lasts another 50k

1998 Toyota Corolla - gift from dad to us, 115k, DD's school car so far, hoping that lasts her through college

We only bought a new Sienna because at the time, it was more cost effective and not much more expensive than used. We knew we'd be taking several road trips. Otherwise, we do not drive pretty, new cars!

2001 Town and Country minivan, 268,400 and still going strong with seriously no major repairs....yes, we've replaced things like pumps and such, but the engine and transmission have never been worked on except recommended maintence.

2011 Kia Sedona just bought October 26, 2010, 9,340 miles

The Kia replaced a 1994 Toyota Camry that had over 280,000 and was still running fine until someone smashed it into it in a parking lot...totalling it.

We buy new, but drive them into the ground, lol. Tried doing that with supposedly "gently" used vehicles but found they just didn't last as long. As you can see we drive a LOT of miles every month, lol.

In my humble opinion, the reason we get so many miles out of cars is because we maintain them religiously.

2001 Chrysler Concorde with 30,000 miles

Overall low mileage because DH works from home and drove the Escort till DD got licensed. (she's almost put more miles in it in 3 years than he did in 8 years!)
I work 3 miles from home and drive the Wagon (most comfortable car ever and great for carpooling when kids were younger) It's a tank!
Use the Freestyle when it snows and for road trips
The Chrysler was just inherited from my MIL when she passed -she bought it new in 2001 and literally only drove it to church and the beauty salon!
We'll keep driving all of them as long as we can and keep up with maintenance.
Hate car payments AND high insurance AND high registration fees that come with new cars!!

Just got rid of an 01 Chevy Venture van last month. It had major oil seal leak problems in the front and rear seals. It had 128K on it. I now have an '11 Traverse and I love it!

My daughter has an 07 Mustang w/ 40K. My husband has an 08 Mustang Bullitt with 20K.... he was deployed a lot.

I recently traded a 2002 Toyota Tacoma in for the '09. It had 190,000 miles on it. It ran perfect. I just wanted something with less miles since I'm on the road allot. I'm hoping to have the '02 paid off this year (just bought it last year) if I stick with my plan.

2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 198,200 miles. Paid off.

I work far and drive a lot. Just got a few big things fixed. Runs pretty awesome now. Trying to avoid car payment for another 18 months.

Wow!!! I'm impressed with all y'alls 5+ year old low mileage cars. I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we just rolled over to 152,000 this week!!!!

We have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with 130,000+ miles on it. My DH drives 45+ miles each way for work but luckily that is only 3 days a week usually. We have been very lucky with it. Only in the last few months has it started showing some wear.

It will be paid off by May but DH wants to hang onto it for at least another year. I think it has worked hard and should be retired though. LOL

The Ford Escape replaced my 1993 Nissan Pathfinder - 175,000.

2006 Subaru Forester - 82,000

This is my third car (and second Subaru). I LOVE my Su-bee in the winter - I feel so safe. It's not a "hot" car - but I don't think I'll own anything other than a Subaru as long as I live in Maine!

I'm hoping to drive this one right in to the ground. It should be paid off by the end of this year - and I hope to get another couple years out of it after it's paid off!!

Well, we are VERY thankful for the new train here in Charlotte (3 years old I think now). Dh gets a supplement from work if he buys a train ticket. He can park at the train station for free and he LOVES taking it in! It saves a lot on his miles and is much more relaxing than driving through traffic!

We also have 3 cars between the 2 of us, that helps.

2004 Chevy Trailblazer 191,000 miles...

thanks be to God everyday it cranks no major problems (knock on wood) other than regular oil and some tires (I think just had to put on 2 sets other than the ones that came on it) we've only had $600-$800 in repairs in the 7 years we've owned it.

I'll just drive it until it won't drive anymore and then might just put a new engine in it I do NOT want a car payment!
