How Many Days at WDW is Your Maximum?

Haven't experienced a too long at WDW vacation. Wish I could someday!

2 or 3 days is our preferred length of Disney trip. We did a 7 day trip with 5 park days this past summer and while we had fun we prefer the shorter trips where we hit a few parks and then go off to doing other things around Florida.

I've been 4 times and all trips were 9 nights, 10 days. Our next trip will be 12 nights, 13 days. I could easily do a full 14 days. We always leave feeling like there was more we could have done. I should mention we are not rope drop and all day people. We had never even heard of rope drop til I got on these boards. We enjoy a big leisurely breakfast and we take our time in the parks. We also enjoy non-park activities... In the past we've done Cirque du Soleil, race car driving, horseback riding, and spa days to name a few. We are adding days to this next trip because we are really trying to get to Harry Potter at Universal. We had every intention of doing that on the last trip and couldn't tear ourselves away from WDW!

Our upcoming trip will be 10 park days and 2 travel days. I'm actually worried it's too much. We're going to be doing 4 days MK and 2 days at each of the other parks. We do only do half days, so the extra time will probably be helpful.

We drive from NE Ohio, so I won't go less than 9, have done 12 and it wasn't too much. I'd say 14 would be too much.

Most I've ever done was 9, and we didn't want to leave for sure. I think I would get tired of it at some point, but it would be like 20 days or something like that. There's just so much to do.
Besides all the obvious stuff, I could spend a whole afternoon and evening just chilling at the Boardwalk and yacht/beach club area. I've always wanted to have time to take in some of the restraunts and lounges in a lot of the resort's I've never stayed at.

Our longest stay was a 17 night split stay in August 2013 and I would definitely do it again. But, I would never be able to stay that long without a car as I start to feel trapped if I have to rely on Disney transportation. The kitchenettes in the DVC studios are also beneficial in making small meals as Disney food gets old fast. Just to get to WDW I literally need to take a plain, a train, an automobile, and a boat, so I would never go for less than 10 days.

Last trip was 10 days which was perfect. 2 travel days and 8 days to do parks, beaches etc.

We travel from Portland Oregon so we like to go for a minimum of 10 days since it's a long day of travel. Our longest trip was 15 nights and while I won't say we were happy to leave, we were okay when departure day came around. In 2013 we decided to upgrade our WDW annual passes to Premier passes because we hadn't been to Disneyland since Cars Land opened and the extra cost was minimal. That year we took two WDW trips and two Disneyland trips spending a total of 40 days in the parks. By the end of the last trip we were ready to take a break from Disney. That break only lasted nine months before we were ready to visit Disneyland again.

I like 3-4 days best. I don't find "down time" at Disney very relaxing. There is just too many people and too many lines. I'd rather sqeeze alot in for a few days at Disney and enjoy the rest of Florida for the remainder of my trip.

We are doing 16 nights over Easter and I haven't managed to include everything I want to do. my favourite is 18 nights.

And we only have 8 days park tickets. (plus 3 days universal)

Wow! I clearly underestimated what people were going to say on here, as you can see by the survey choices. I figured 10 days was probably near the top since they don't sell tickets for longer than that other than annual passes. Thanks everyone for the answers so far. It sounds like there are enough things to do in the World for many people here.

2 weeks at WDW in a mod for 4 was too much. Our perfect trips (and most common) are 6-7 nights at a DVC villa at AKL and then 3-4 nights at Universal Royal Pacific.

We've done 18 days two years in a row. We go to the parks everyday. This year we're booked for 19 days. I'm never ready to go home. We enjoy the parks, but we don't go sun up to sun down. Sometimes we rope drop and stay for a few hours. Sometimes we go late afternoon/early evening and close the parks.

We went for 16 days last time and are going for 10 days next time - if I have to fly from London I want to make the most of it.

We almost always go for 14 nights.
We fly from AZ and not going to spend that kind of money for a short stay.
I'm at WDW now (leave tomorrow). We have been here for a week and a week long cruise before that.

I have stayed 10 days (that is the longest) and could have easily stayed longer. When I'm on a longer trip I do take my time and don't go rope drop to park closing every day, but I don't know where my max out on WDW is - I can only tell you it's longer than 10 days.

We've done 21 nights before (once straight after University and again for our honeymoon) and absolutely loved it both times. We got to do at least 3 days per park, a day at the mall, the water parks, 3 days at Universal, plus loads of extras like horse riding at Camp Wilderness (and their awesome Legend of Sleepy Hollow carriage ride). It felt great not to have to rush anything, plenty of time to just wander and enjoy the parks and take in all the little details. The only negative I can think of is that after 3 weeks we were getting a little bored of waiting for buses

Of course, those trips were over 5 years apart and we certainly wouldn't do that if we went every year (couldn't afford to!!)
