I managed to snag 7/13 - 14/07!! WooHoo!!

Now I'm trying to get Bonnet Creek for everyone else in our party who's going. We'll be down 7/7 - 7/14/07. 8 of us all together, 3 in Garden Suite for 2 nites!!

My youngest is getting married in Disney in December, 2007 so this will be our trip before to finalize everything. I am so excited. My baby getting married at Mickey's place!!! What more could a momma ask for??!!!

I just wanted to tell you that it is wonderful what you are doing for your DS and FDIL, my boys are 5 and 3 and I get teary eyed when I think about them getting married one day. Dh thinks that I have completely lost at times like these

thanx..me too. I feel guilty that I couldn't afford to take them when they were younger...I became a single mom w/deadbeat ex & had to take care of the priorities 1st...making up for it now

Doesn't sound corny at all. My dd tells me that I am a completely different person at WDW. I relax and enjoy and I don't worry about all those life stresses that are going on at home. It is great therapy for me.

Have to be honest.. I am kind of jealous of those of you that got special rates. We are going in Jan to Universal and I really want to add three days onto the beginning at disney. But Beach Club for three days is well over $3000 including tickets. I would have been the happiest campier to have gotten this deal. I have been on these boards religilously every day and night, but for those three days I was babysitting a friends child for free so they could go away and they dont have internet at their house. I guess no good deed goes unpunished!!

BUT in all honesting.. I am happy for the people who scored a great deal!!! Disney makes alot of money, so I would not worry about their mistake, they happen all the time in business. They can write it off....

And I forgot to mention, I tried a number of dates in January 2007 in trying to book the "special deal" and found no availability for those dates. So, if it's any consolation, depending on your dates of travel, you might not have been able to get the "special deal" for your January trip even if you had had the internet. Hope that makes you feel a little better!

Thanks... It does make me feel a little better that my dates may not have been available!! (LOL) I firmy believe everything happens for a reason, so I guess there was a reason I was not online in the morning!!

Gosh, that's what I was afraid of. I'm going to have to pin this down before they go because there's no way the kids can go if I can't get this special rate, but both my daughter and I want the reservations to correctly reflect who is there. Don't mean to hijack this thread, but has anybody had any experience in adding names to a reservation at check-in after getting a special discount without losing that discount? And is anybody else going to try this approach -- adding names at check-in to a reservation made with this "special deal"? Thanks for any advice or experience you can offer.

The last time there was a "deal" like this, they eventually called everyone and offered one night at the deal rate and people had that one opportunity to clean up their reservations at that time, such as adding/subtracting names, etc.

I know that a couple of years ago when they had the 4 for 7 deal (7 nights room and tickets for the price of 4), that many folks that had APs booked the deal for one person, then added the other guests at checkin.

Also, just recently when fixing my reservations at Ft. Wilderness because I had 1 person for part of the stay, 3 adults for part of my stay, and two adults for part of my stay, I was advised to just add them when they arrived. However, they needed Magical Express, so she had to split the reservation, so that I was only paying for 3 adults for the 3 days that there are three adults.

So it sounds like adding people at checkin is pretty standard practice.
