to get from the airport to our resort and checked in using magical express? Our flight arrives at 9:24 a.m. on a Saturday. Wondering if it was possible to make and 11 or 11:15 dinner reservation not at our resort. Thanks!!

Averages 60-90 minutes. I think an 11am or 11:15am ADR not at your resort is really pushing it. Doubt you'd make it, even if everything went exactly perfect for you.

Have to agree with CarolMN. I would allow at least 3 hours.

One WDW visit, we allowed 4.5 hours between airport scheduled arrival and a dinner ADR. We divided and conquered to pick up our luggage and rental car. I got the rental car, but my BFF was missing with the luggage! It took the airline another hour to locate the luggage (it was stranded on the tarmac!) and we made a beeline for our resort. Humongous check-in line! The computer system was down--and running very slowly when it worked at all!

Needless to say, we didn't make our ADR. They did accommodate us about two hours later--and comped the meal, as the system did not add our DDP to our KTTK cards!

It was a rough start to an otherwise wonderfull holiday! *LOL*

I wouldn't take a chance with a lunch ADR, maybe push it back to dinner.
Any number of things can go wrong when travelling.... plane delays, luggage delays, traffic, etc. You will just stress yourself out even more if you have to keep an eye on the clock. No sense starting your trip off stressed out.

I am assuming you meant a dining reservation at 11:00am or 11:15 am?

Lets break this down some. Note my times are estimates and it may take less or more time depending on the day.

Arrival: 9:24 am (assuming you are on time)

Depart plane: 9:35am (10 mins depending on where you are seated and how fast people move)

Get to ME buses: 9:50am (15 mins, can change depending on where your gate is and if you decide to grab your own luggage.)

Leave Airport: 10:00am (assuming no lines, no one storing luggage under the bus, and no waiting for the bus to fill up. Sometimes they wait.)

Arrive at resort: 10:40am (depending on traffic)

Get checked in (leave carry on with luggage service, get keys, ect): 10:55am (assuming no lines, your room is not yet ready, and you have no issues with location so that it may have to be changed.)

As of now, you are already at the 11:00am mark, and have just finished checking in. You would still need to travel to another resort which would require you to catch a bus to a park and then transportation to the resort (unless you took a cab, but at this point, that won't help).

I would safely say you could NOT make at dining reservations at 11:00am or 11:15 am. Honestly, the earliest I MIGHT book is for 12:30pm... but I am OCD about being late to things so I would personally do some point after 1:00pm.

I wouldn't make an ADR before 1:00 at the earliest.
