How long to renew pass?

How long do you have to renew AP's and SP's after their expiration date to still get the renewal discount?

Is it 30 days?

I believe you have to renew BY the expiration date.

you have a 30 day grace periiod after it expires. we have done this several times. just know your expiration date will always be the same.

I renewed a full 3 months later but of course, it was retroactive back to the old renewal date.

I had forgotten to do it at the appropriate renewal time but it seemed to be absolutely NO trouble at all for them to renew my pass after the "expire" date.
