How long is waitlist for direct purchase through DVC at GCV?

Hi Breyean,

Great to hear that you got your points, finally! How long did you have to wait on the list before you got the call?

I was very tempted to get on the list before the price increase, but resisted.

We went on the list the second week of May, so it took a little over 3 months to get the points.

When we went on the list it wasn't nearly as long as it quickly became. In fact, about a month after we went on, our Guide called to tell us Disney had sent out a memo to the Guides saying they realized the VGC list was really long, and that they were going to be a lot more aggressive in buying back contracts to get people on the list their points.

Ironic part is, MINE was apparently one of the first resales they bought back in quite some time at VGC, so I wound up paying a lot more for what may have been points from that exact resale contract!
