How Long Did it Take You to Sell Your Contract

We are considering selling our DVC's at SSR and AKV and buying a big contract at BCV. That is where our family likes to stay and I'm tired of going on the waitlist every time we want to stay there. I really wish we would have bought there in the first place, but lesson learned.

Anyway, I was wondering how long it took for someone to buy your contract through the Timeshare store or any other broker? And which broker did you use? Does anyone know what the average turn around time is?

Thanks!

I had a small 50pt contract @ ole that sold in less than 24 hrs. I used TTS and highly recommend them, they were great! Good luck!

Just wanted to add that ours took longer to close because we had to wait til after a vaca we had planned with the pts we were selling so I can't give you a good turn around time.

How long will depend on how you price it and the size of the contracts. The smaller ones seem to go pretty fast. Our last 100 point SSR contract we sold was listed mid-Dec 2009, sold end of Jan 2010, closing was early March. We've sold all three of our small SSR contracts with The Timeshare Store with excellent service.

I've only sold one contract for 70 points. First offer came through in less than 24 hours, but that fell through the next day but, second offer came through, also on the second day, and that one held. Got my asking price.

Sounds like our experience, but ours was 60 points. Used The Timeshare Store. Very happy with them.
