How long a drive from NC to WDW?

Hi,

We are driving to WDW on June5th. We have two kids so I know we will have to stop some. Was just wondering how long it takes. Someone told us 9hrs. Do you take 95 to I-4?

What part of NC are you driving from? We're driving from the Piedmont area, so it takes us about 2 hours to get on 95. We plan on taking 95, and aren't sure if we'll continue on 95 to the Beeline, or cut accross I-4 (I hate driving on I-4). I am anticipating 10 hours on the road.

You are very close to i-95 then. I would expect it would take you 9.5-10, depending upon how fast

Hey, I'm in the Smithfield area too (Clayton actually)!! We're leaving on June 12th though. The last time I drove I planned on it taking 10 hours, but it took 12 hours! We were stopped in two massive backups on I-95, one in Savannah and one in Daytona Beach. That threw us off enough to put us in rush hour on I-4 which put us even further behind. I would plan on 10 hours and if you get there sooner, then that's all the more better.
