How late does monorail run from Epcot to MK?

Hoping to spend the afternoon/early eve at Epcot on Monday (Future closes at 7pm, World Showcase closes at 9pm). Our plan was to take the monorail over to MK around 7:30/8pm to catch Spectro at 9pm. I've never been to Epcot, so I didn't know how late the monorail ran if Future closes at 7pm. Do they gate off Future from WS in any way? How long does it take to get from Epcot to MK? Monday is our only realistic shot at seeing Spectro and we didn't want to mess it up. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's been our experience that Future World is not gated off, but several attractions will be closed. The front gate to EPCOT will be accessable thru the time that the Illuminations show is over. The monorail will run for at least an hour after the show's end. The trip from EPCOT to MK can take up to an hour depending on crowd levels and frequency of monorail trains.
