How early busses?

We are staying our first night at PO with cash because of how late we are arriving. Our plan is to check-out in the morning and get over to BCV to check-in for the rest of our stay. I know we won't get a room this early but we like to buy our park passes with our room key. Last year they gave these to us even though the room was not ready. We thought we would go to Epcot that morning after getting our passes.

My question is how early would we be able to get a bus from PO to BC. In the past I thought the busses ran an hour before opening. I was hoping to get a bus from PO to MK around 8 and then take a bus from MK to BC. This would give us time to check-in and get to Epcot by 10.

Does this make sense?

Assuming that MK opens at 9 that day (as it does most days, I think) that would definitely work for you. However, if it were me, as soon as my luggage was secured with Bell Services, I'd be in a cab to my new resort to check in. When I'm ansty to get something like that taken care of, it's better for my nerves to not have to rely on the bus system.

IMHO, it would be faster to take the bus to MGM and then either walk or boat to the BC. MGM is closer to PO than is the MK and if you walk to the BC, you will not have to wait for the other bus. Of course that assumes MGM opens at the same time as (or earlier than) the MK, and that you are letting Disney take care of transferring your luggage. If you walk at what I consider an average speed, you should be able to walk from MGM bus station to the BC lobby in about 20 minutes. You could theoretically do the whole trip in about 30-40 minutes from the time you catch the bus to MGM (depends on what stop you board the bus at PO).

FWIW, a cab will be the quickest option and I'd estimate if would cost $12-$15, including tip. If you use a cab, I'd definitely take your luggage with you at that time.
