How does MS deal with hurricane related changes?

Howdy, Folks!

We are booked at VWL from 9/18 - 9/25 and, though it looks as if Ivan will be gone by then I was wondering if anyone knows what would happen if weather/flight cancellations, etc. made in neccessary to start our trip a day or two later. Would we just lose those points? I know this info is probably in our Member materials but they are at home and I'm at work.

We are arriving 9/19-9/24 staying at SSR. I sure hope any info we find out on the boards won't be put to use over the next week.
