How do you and / or your children like the new Happy Meal Options?

For our family - we like it. My two boys (ages 9 & 4) don't care for (DS9) or like (read as detests for DS4) fries. I know - I don't think I'm their mother. Maybe they were switched at birth?

We get them the apples with dipping sauce now and they like that so much more.

As for the beverage, DS4 opts for chocolate milk and DS9 opts for the regular milk.

My kids like it. I am looking forward to trying one of the Stay Active meals myself. (DH just wants a pedometer! )

I love the new happy meal options. I still get the cheeseburger,the apples are quite yummy, I love chocolate milk and of course the toy! PS. I'm 25

My ds still orders his the way he always does. Nuggets, fries, DP. I got one of the pedometers and he took it from me. He loves it. He sure does walk a lot with it.

My dd LOVES the apples! (She doesn't use the carmel sauce.) She also loves the "cool" milk containers.

I don't mind buying them for her as she's eat maybe 2 chicken nuggets, the apples and the milk. She mainly likes them for the toys.

She has never been a big french fry eater. In fact, she doesn't like potatoes much at all. (Wonder where she got "that" gene! *LOL* Wish I had gotten it!)

My yougest can't eat potatoes, he allgeric to them .so We are really happy McDonald changed their meals for kids to have a choice, He gets a cheese burger , no pickles no onions, and apple dipper and chocolate milk, my other kids tried his apple dippers and now want that instead of fries next time.

I'm happy about the milk option, but since the rugrat wants a Fries happy meal and doesn't care which meat option we won't be trying the apples any time soon. Maybe I could get apples and fries instead of burger....I'll have to ask.

We like them although we have always been able to get white milk with the HM. My oldest loves the nuggets with the apples and my youngest likes the traditional burger and fries.

fwiw - here you can get the apple dippers separate for $1.00 so I usually get an extra!

I love the fiesta salad so far that's the only one I have tried.

My DS loves it! Well at least his Mommy loves it. We always have gotten him milk with his Happy Meal and used to have to stick hte straw into the milK carton and it never really worked well. Now he loves the new shape of the milk bottle.

Happy meals are treats for him on rare occassions to able to have french fries so he hasn't tried the apples but he would love them if I could get them and fries.

We're loving it! (Uh-oh, I sound like a commercial) DS's (7 & 9) both love apple slices (especially peeled, which I never do) AND chocolate milk. I'd love it even more if they added a baby carrots option, like they have at some WDW restaurants.

Don't know what they're covering in school, but suddenly my 7 year old is very health conscious. The other day he wanted a salad instead of a happy meal---with water instead of soda! So that's what we both got. Hope he keeps it up!

Ditto..So the boys get a healthier meal, and I get the Double Cheeseburger, Large fries....

I was pleasantly surprised that my boys preferred apples to FF.
