Follwing along! You and your DD remind me of me and my DD and have many of the same tastes...loving your reviews, especially the pictures. We want to try HBD and GG so thanks for posting!
Thanks for following along! And thanks for the nice words - I hope you get to try both HBD and GG soon; we enjoyed both of them so much!!!

Oh, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!! It really was the most fun way to spend an evening - I wish we were back there right now!Love your review of GG! We chose GG as our Candlelight Processional Package dinner. We've never been to GG and were excited to try a new character dinner. Your review made me even more excited!
Glad you guys had fun!
Maddie could eat from both platters - as can you. She would be set. I'm going to post a lot more pics and info about the characters in the TR in just a second. You may have to change some ADRs around.....Ok, GG sounds great. Not sure Maddie would eat anything on the kids plate though. I wonder if they'd just let her eat off the adult plate??
Hmmm. I do not have room for this meal in May! Darn it!
Yeah, I can totally understand that! I think it is because of booking this and CM for dinner that we needed to add two signature lunches to use up credits.Sounds like GG was an excellent meal!! I wish they offered a breakfast or lunch though as we are usually devoted to our Signature Dinners!
Welcome!!! Thanks so much for joining in - I hope you can stick around.Great reviews! I am joining along, can't wait to read more! Thanks for sharing!
You know, if DD had not been on a super-duper-Pluto-seeking mission leading up to this trip, I probably would not have ever booked GG. I'm so glad that we ended up going there! My only fear is that this experience was not the norm - it would be hard to match the good time we had there. But I will certainly be booking it again in hope that it can measure up!What a nice review of the GG. I haven't eaten there but reading your review has me wanting to try next time![]()
Oh, they are dangerous, aren't they??? I made them for Christmas morning one year - I am considering doing it again, but having a big vat of them taunting me from my kitchen all day is not the best idea.Ooooh! I'm so glad to hear that the potatoes are gluten free! They really are addictive!
I really liked that spot - it was a totally different experience from the other area we have been in on our two other trips. I liked it better - less chaotic. We've eaten there 3 times- twice in that same room. It's the best spot.
Thanks!!! GG was really the MOST fun! And you're right - the chef was a total character too. I think part of the reason that the character interaction was so good is that the chef and server were both totally interacting with the characters too. It was like everyone there was just having a ball.Getting caught up with your awesome report! Garden Grill looks amazing, I've heard a lot of good things about that restaurant and am determined to try it on our next visit. How wonderful that you had such great character interaction (including the chef, who certainly sounded like a character himself, LOL!)
Well, no Norwegian food at breakfast (other than some smoked fish on the cold buffet). But it probably would not be worth it unless you were wanting to meet the characters. The crack potatoes, however, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.Akershus is another restaurant we haven't tried yet and I doubt we will as DH is iffy about Norwegian food and we're waaay beyond the princess stage. Those "crack" potatoes look seriously tempting though ...
Thanks! I get a little bogged down trying to keep up with my Trip Report at the same time, but we did a lot of dining, so more should be up before too long!Enjoying your reviews, looking forward to the next installment!
Welcome! I'm so glad you joined in!!! How exciting to have a trip coming up in February - I bet it will be a great time to be there.Just joining in and loving your reviews! This is very helpful for my trip planning for February!!
You're very welcome - and thank you for reading and commenting! We really enjoyed the DxDDP - it was nice to have the regularly scheduled A/C breaks, and we really liked trying to many new places. I think we would enjoy the food even more during a cooler time of year.Thank you so much for sharing! We are considering DxDDP for our next onsite trip next summer, and it's nice to read a report of people who have done this plan![]()
Thanks for reading and commenting! We sure had a great time at GG!!Thanks for a great report of Garden Grill!
Oh, I hope you do! I was so surprised by what a great time we had! This place just doesn't get a lot of coverage on here - I had never read anything bad and had seen a few good reviews, but I really didn't know what to expect. Such a great surprise! Two fab character meals to catch up on
I'm going to have to get to GG one of these days!
