This matches the experience we had on the Fantasy 5/21 sailing. My son came down with Covid, and he and I were moved into isolation in a verandah stateroom on deck 5 for the last 4 nights of the 7-night sailing while the rest of our family could go about the cruise normally as long as they self-tested each day. Thankfully none of the rest of us ever got it.
I’m not sure if there’s an actual no-fly list, but the ship’s public health officer and guest services manager made it very clear to us that the rule for flying is still 10 days from start of symptoms (see
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-during-covid19.html). The two of us ultimately decided to drive home (the others flew as originally planned), and
DCL covered the rental car, meals, and hotel along the way. Alternatively, they would have paid for hotel and meals for our entire party of 5 to stay in Orlando until the full 10 days had elapsed, plus any airline change fees or fare difference.
Of course this was over a month ago, so I don’t know if things have changed.
