Ola all!

Since I leave fairly soon and overplan on everything, I was wondering if someone has a crowd report for the past few days.. just checking to see what kind of crowds to expect 24-30th!... :)
Can't wait either way! WHEEEE!

I'll give this a bump to see if any recent WDW visitors can give you a crowd report.::yes:: :wave2:

We just got back today and it was pretty crowded (got there the 16th). There was a HUGE Dreamflight group (I have no idea what that is) at Blizzard Beach and we only stayed an hour. Lots of Brits - is it their break? I think it was more crowded than our honeymoon trip one week earlier last year.

Took a day trip up yesterday (Friday) went to EPCOT once again to partake in the Food and Wine Festival.......arrived early morning and it was very manageable but by late afternoon it was becoming very crowded. I think if you do the FW try not to do it on the weekends unless there is a band that you really want to see. Alot of the locals head out there for this festival. I too noticed alot of Brits there. But the weather is absolutely perfect!
Saw the Commodores, I have to say that I was not a fan but they put on a great show...........although I still hate Brickhouse!!

I was there from the 17 thru 22nd. By my standards, I found it to be very crowded. But, we generally go in January, so I may not be the best judge. when I see a wait time of 65 min. for Splash, I gotta believe it is very crowded.

I just got back today also from going oct 15-23 and I found it to be crowded also. I usually go at the end of sept and have maybe 10 minute waits during this time but last week we didnt do alot of the rides b/c we didnt feel like waiting 30 to 40 minutes.

Today Epcot Future World was not crowded at all. At WS only did Mexico, not crowded either. Most people were doing F&W.

I just returned as well, we were there 15-22 and to me it was more crowded this time than when we were there in March during Spring Break, I will agree with the poster above, lots of Brits, If was so crowded at MK every day we went there that if we had not done the MNSSHP then we would not have been able to do everything. We checked in on last Fri 10/15 and went to Kona where a family member of ours works, he told us that up until that weekend crowds were light, but that weekend all resorts were booked to capacity and after our week there, I believe it. I am not sure exactly what caused the huge crowds, MNSSHP was going on, the F&W, and Funai Classic Golf, but it was crowded. Thank God for Fast Passes!

we brits broke up from school friday 10/22 maybe thats why there seemed a lot of us :hyper:

Because of the Hurricane Re-scheduling and all.:o Thats what I heard, I don't arrive till Nov. 10th!::yes::

We were there last year same time and the crowds and waits were mich longer this year. (10/15-22)

The weekend at MK was way too crowded. On Sunday during EMH, the wait for SM BEFORE 9:00 was out the door and part way to TTA. Pooh FP was for 10:00 at 8:30. BUt a friend went in the afternoon and said it was not crowded or long waits on Sunday the 17th afternoon.

Went to Epcot on Monday and was much more crowded than same time last year.

I am sure the hurricanes delayed a lot of vacations. Hope that's it, because I like this time of year, but not this crowd level!

I must say that I'm very disappointed to hear that the crowds are larger than usual! We are headed there on Thursday 10/28 for an "extended weekend" (coming home Tuesday...) and we too are quite accustomed to not having to wait in long lines....:sad2:

Yup -- I was there in Sept last year and Oct two years ago, just got back this week and the crowds were much worse than they've been in past years, and in fact were the worst I've seen them since my Jan 99 trip. But, despite that, we still got a LOT in, and some days were worse than others. MK was the worst, with wait time for Splash averaging about 40 minutes (80 minutes at one time, but I think that was because it had been down all morning).

But, using Fast Pass, we never waited more than 20 minutes for anything.

We're just back also and I have to admit that the parks were very busy......but knowing how and when to use a fastpass saved us many times. We'll never wait in line more than 20 minutes. the big name rides all had 45-50 minute wait times: Splash mountain, Space Mountain, Test Track, Playhouse Disney, etc. Just plan your time wisely and use fastpasses.

We're just back from a quick stopover at DW (10/20-10/23). It was just DH and I (kids at home) and we wanted to do all 4 parks in 2 days (Thursday and Friday). We were not only able to do everything we wanted both days, but we were able to get in a lot of other things as well. Both DH and I felt the parks weren't crowded at all given the different things that were going on (F&W, MNSSHP). We usually go in January where there are NO CROWDS, and we were pleasantly surprised by what we felt were relivately light crowds. We did make use of the Fastpass for the big name rides, but all in all we waited no longer than 30 minutes for any ride.

we did magic kingdom on Frida(10/22).. not to bad

on sat(10/23) we did epcot and it was way to crouded for me..world showcase was insane!!! with the food and wine festival

On Sunday we went to Animal kingdom and again I founds the cruods crazy but I think it always seems bad there...

We also did the halloween event last night and it was great.. walkied onto most rides no wait!!

We were there Oct. 14-17 and went to Epcot and MK on Fri, Oct. 15. Both were so crowded! But we try to go during off times so I'm not used to the crowds.

We just got back and although it was more crowded than I expected, we were still able to do all we wanted. We went to MK on Wednesday the 20th and it was pretty empty. The line was 25 minutes for Splash at 3:30! We seriously did every ride escept for Pooh whcih was broken by 4.
