FYI in case someone hasn't posted this (sorry for repeating if they have) but I called earlier to make ADRs for Hoop Dee Doo and the CM told me that if you're on the dining plan you can only get the 9:30 ADR. If you want an earlier one you have to pay OOP. Anyone else heard of this?


***Ok, I called today (7-29) to see about getting an ADR and the CM I talked to today said that you're restricted on the category, not the time. So either I misunderstood the last time, or he just didn't know what he was talking about. Sorry about that!***

Nope. If it's true, it's new.

We are going in September and have a 7:15pm ADR, with Category 2 seating. I do know that on the dining plan the 9:30 time is the only one where you can get Category 1 (if available)... maybe that's what they meant?? You can book any of the times, but for the earlier two seatings, it's only Category 2 and 3 for the DDP.

I have not heard that one before - however I think I might have had to reserve it with my credit card until I got my Dining Plan Package for that year.

I would call back and ask again. That has worked for me in the past.

I am going the evening of 08/15..I have cat 2 for the 7:15 show and I am using the the deluxe dining plan for our meal/show. My guess is the CM didnt know what they were talking about.

nope not true. we are going to the 7:15 at the end of august.

but, i know for the night we are going we could only get category 2 seating at either showing, you ahd to pay OOP for category 1.
a friend of mine went in july and was told the same thing as the PP, that she could only get cat1 at the 9:30.
i dont know why all the discrepencies, maybe they hold as many seats as they think they can fill with "paying" customers? then maybe they start giving them to the DDP people as 2 and 3 fill?

Probably Cat. 2 was sold out. We deciced to pay OOP for the Hoop Dee Doo in Sept. and take the 2 TS and use for a Crystal Palace Breakfast and a Coral Reef DInner and also this way we also got Cat. 1.
