I made my HDD reservations about 15 months ago and I just recently called to make payment. I mentioned that it would be my sons birthday and I was having a cake ordered and and asked if my party of 10 would be all at the same table. She said their largest table only fits 6 or7. I told her that I did HDD a couple of years ago and my party of 8 all sat together. She then said well maybe its 8. :confused3 AND I could have sworn there were a few larger tables then ours. ANYWAY since she didn't seem to have her facts straight I was wondering if anyone here has ever had a table for 10 or seen one while there? It sure will be a bummer to have a family members birthday and have a our party split at 2 tables

When I made my PS for a party of 8 (plus infant), I was told that they would seat us at 2 tables of 5 pushed together.

Hi Debbie,

We were a party of fifteen at the HDDR last August, and we ended up at one long table (smaller ones set together) for eleven and an adjoining table for for four. This was right in the middle of the hall, close enough to the stage for two of the party to get invlved in the show - we all had a blast! Believe this was done by the HDDR team and not Disney Dining. Chances are they will seat the 10 of you together. Have Fun!!!

I went in '02 with a party of 10 and had 1 table. According to group dining my party of 10 for my upcoming trip will also be at 1 table.

thank you. Maybe I should call again, because the girl I spoke with told me I would have 2 tables and they won't slide them together because of the interaction between show and guests. I told her it was a birthday and I was having a cake delivered and she said "sorry NO". This really has me bummed!!
My family is bummed!!
I hope you're right Peg & Bob :)

I didn't see your reply Michelle. Maybe I should call group dining.
Thank you

what is the group dining number?

Hi again Debbie,

Reading Michelle's post reminded me that we too booked through group dining, and they were very pleasant to deal with - changed number of people twice with nary a problem. Again, have fun!!

thank you, i'm on hold with group dining as i type :teeth:

listening to disney music i might add

OK group dining told me the same thing :confused3 largest table is for 7. She then added that they will try to put them together but its not gauranteed. I then told her about my message board friends :teeth: and she just restated the same :rolleyes1
I'll just hope for the best!
Thanks everyone for your help :flower:

Last August we had a party of 8 at one of the round tables near the front. While I didn't count the number of guests at other tables, there were certainly larger groups of people sitting together at a table.

yes a couple of years ago, my party of 8 was all at one round table too. We were about 3/4 of the way back from the stage but I should add that I made that reservation only about 1 month out. AND we did go in there expecting 2 separate tables only to be pleasantly surprised!

I'm thinking I'll be OK but the "Stressor" that I am ....can't help it...I just can't turn it off  I'm doomed to worry about it ;)

Two years ago we were a party of 11 (one infant) and we were all seated together on the right hand side of the stage (facing the stage). I think it was 2 tables together, but it was all set up when we arrived and we had a great view and enjoyed all being together for such a fun evening!
