Hi

has anybody had the honeymoon package? If so what does this involve? Do you go in before the park opens and have pictures taken in specified places? sorry I am asking so many questions, I am just really excited and to think we are not getting married until November 2007.

What package are you talking about? A photo package?

If you're talking about the honeymoon pictures package, you arrange to meet a Disney photographer inside the park of your choice, he spends about an hour with you, and they provide you with some choice shots (in an album, I think, but I'm not 100% positive).

As far as I know, the only opportunity you have to take pictures inside the parks before they open is what we here call the Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot and what they call the Bridal Portrait or something like that. That's you and your DH, in your wedding finery, before the park opens, in front of the castle. Oh, and also $800.

When we called to book the honeymoon shoot, we told them we wanted Epcot, and they asked us if there were any specific shots we wanted. The only direction I gave was that I'd like to have something with the Epcot ball in the background. However, she definitely made it sound like my choices were limited to the World Showcase, not Future World. I don't know if it's because Future World isn't as picturesque, it's too crowded, or if it's too far from where they meet you (at the International Gateway, halfway between ENgland and France).

So to answer your question, I think you have a certain degree of flexibility, but in the end it's up the photographer. Make sense?
