Has anyone here tried to intake raw local honey to fight their seasonal allergies? What was your experience?

I started doing this over the summer and to be truthful, I haven't seen a big difference. Just wondering if anyone has some advice about how much to take and in what form? Thanks!

We tried this with DS12. We know a local beekeeper who gave us his honey. It didn't help. DS has allergies, and horrible eczema. Nothing improved by taking the honey. :sad2:

Even with allergy shots it takes about 5 years to really get the full effect, you would need to do at least that with honey. Also, it only works IF the pollen the bees use is what you are allergic to. If you are allergic to say, dust mites, honey won't help you. DS16 has horrible grass allergies. Bees don't tend to pollinate grass so that would be of no help for those allergies.
