Here are some of mine from this year. I hate that it never looks as pretty with the flash on but its blurry without the flash!

Would that be a Scottish Terrier stocking on your fireplace? We have two needle point Scottie dog stockings, but sadly will not be putting one of ours up this year. Our old guy passed away a couple of months ago.... Maybe we should hang it in memory of him though.
We put up some outdoor lights this weekend. It was in the 70s and we couldn't pass this beautiful weather up this late in the season. The tree won't go up until after Thanksgiving. But I do want to start wrapping soon!
luvflorida ~ love the new holiday pix of your adorable 'pride and joy' grandbaby!![]()
And since it has part of the Christmas tree in it, this picture counts, right?

It is! We have a 5 year old Scottie! I'm sorry to hear about your old guy but I definitely think you should go ahead and hang it up in remembrance!
Here's our girl:

She is a cute girl. My Scottie is 3 years old. She has been a member of our family for almost a year. Scotties are very special dogs--I know you understand! When I get my tree up, I'll try to get a photo of Cassie under the tree on my home-made Scottie dog tree skirt. Yes, I am obsessive.
Just wanted to post and say thanks to Sandra whoever you are. Real classy to send pics of some of our decorations to a website that pokes fun at the way we choose to decorate our houses and our trees. I only post here on the DIS because I like most of the people here and some are very good friends. It's pretty disgusting that someone would copy photos that do not belong to you. I found out about this when a friend from the DIS sent me an email.
About the website, I sent an email requesting the blog owner remove my photos. Their response? Block access to the site except by invitation. Pretty much the reaction that most bullies take- run and hide once they take a pot shot.
Awww try not to let it bother you. Some people are just crudbuckets. Not only will they eventually get their comeuppance, but they're living a miserable existence right now. What kind of pitiful life must someone have to spend their free time mocking others? And, what kind of wonderful role models they must be for their own children.
Just try to shrug it off rie'smom. If someone wants to mock my Christmas decorations from their miserable cave, let them. It doesn't interfere with the enjoyment we're getting from our decorations in our homes. Take joy in the fact that we apperently grew up along the way in life, and they somehow never left their adolescent years.

Pity poor Sandra. She's clearly a sad soul who can take no joy in anything and needs to think she's dragging other people down in order to elevate herself.
Poor thing....
rie'smom - I am so sorry to see that you took your picture down. I would feel bad about that happening, too. It is pretty rotten. I hope whoever did that feels like a jerk.![]()
