Holiday Decorations *Photos*

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee all these pics due to money and hubby leaving soon we wont be decorating like we usually do. although looking at these and I might reconsider.

Just wanted to post and say thanks to Sandra whoever you are. Real classy to send pics of some of our decorations to a website that pokes fun at the way we choose to decorate our houses and our trees. I only post here on the DIS because I like most of the people here and some are very good friends. It's pretty disgusting that someone would copy photos that do not belong to you. I found out about this when a friend from the DIS sent me an email.

About the website, I sent an email requesting the blog owner remove my photos. Their response? Block access to the site except by invitation. Pretty much the reaction that most bullies take- run and hide once they take a pot shot.

What a sad, bitter person that Sandra must be. I really enjoyed EVERY picture, and I'm sorry you took yours down (though I understand). It saddens me that one person can bring down such a fun thread, and maybe intimidate others from posting their pictures.

I want to thank everyone for their pictures here. It's been a hard year and I'm having an awful time getting into the holiday spirit, almost not wanting to decorate, but this pictures are cheering me up

Thank-you for the support. You know I've seen pictures people have posted on different threads that don't appeal to me but I would never be hateful and ridicule them. Everyone has different taste and that's what makes threads like this one fun. I'm looking forward to seeing other pictures!

Awww I wish you'd reconsider! I've been enjoying everyone's decorations soooo much! I just went back through the thread and looked at all of the pictures again

If we all give in then the bullies win. Who cares if they make fun of our Christmas trees over in their little Gollum cave? They're the sad ones, not us! Hmmph!

If someone wants to make fun.. by all means please do. I just wont post what I have right now, since DS is in the pics.

who gives a rats behind what small minded losers think - they are the same people who have nothing better to do then to video tape "fat" people in WDW and post it on youtube. nice.

at least these people are living and enjoying themselves unlike the people to must have more vacation time then most that they can spend precious Disney time taking video of others.

don't let anyone force you into removing your pictures - dont give them the satisfaction of knowing that it made you upset.

i find people who do stuff like that are jealous we are living and enjoying life - they are sad small minded people who don't deserve to waste any time on.

Sandra must be jealous that you will be on your vacation in a few days! Have lots of fun!

I also think everyone's decorations are beautiful. If I could post pics I would. I did my decorating this week since I have been home sick. It has helped pick my spirits up! Happy Holidays to all!

LoveWDWalways - sorry for the slow response! I have been away from the computer all weekend. I think that I bought most of the white pointsettias on clearance at Joann - they were in a "pot" and I just cut them to use them individually. After Christmas they are at least 75% off and I add that kind of stuff then. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the information! I actually ended up doing something similar last night, with the bunches of stems/flowers from Michael's. There was an OK sale on them; I'll have to check Joann's too. I cut the flowers and attached to the tree. I decided to use maroon on that tree (a white tree), but I love your idea for white flowers on a green tree so that's my next task!

We call it our "Dr. Suess" tree, since it has all kinds of wacky stuff, mostly huge ting ting pieces, sticking out of it. But we love it, and it balances our big "fancy" one in the other room. My dh insists he is going to lose an eye. We have smaller ones on the gold tree, and last year after Christmas, I bought smaller white with red and green flecks ones to try on it this year. I guess we'll see!
