Hold time this morning(7/28)???

That is the new norm. It's absolutely ridiculous. I sent off a message via a survey explaining how unacceptable this situation is. I work and I don't have breaks long enough to stay on hold and get things done that I should be able to do myself on the glitchy website, and can't. It's not acceptable customer service. I hope they get their act together soon.
 

I cancelled a 2 day at OKW because I saw a preferred 1 BR at SSR. Got to the borrow points in the new reservation and the website crashed!! Got back to it again and it's still not working. I'm on hold and hoping for some pixie dust. We added a couple days onto a trip and changed our flights and booked a car based on the 2 day at OKW. Any advice??
 
The site doesn't seem to want to let me borrow any points. I needed only 1 or 9 based on preferred or standard. Neither time worked. I booked a preferred 1 br for my 2nd night without borrowing without issue. When I tried to book a preferred for the 1st night (needing 9 points), it was a no go. FYI...I'm not approaching my 50% limit (not even close)

Sorry you are having trouble. Hope MS can help.

If you want to do something like this in the future, use the MODIFY feature on the existing reservation instead of cancelling it. With the modify feature, you won't lose the existing reservation if for whatever reason, you can't complete the new reservation.
 
On my 3rd attempt with MS , hold time was at 40 mins(so far 46mins). Beats 78 mins. But still this is crazy . I wonder how long before Mebers are heard and DVC does something to help us out. Very frustrating to say the least.
 
I was on at 9am this morning and I had a 20 minute wait . I was a little surprised as they just opened .
 
So, I missed MS after an hour on hold this morning! Just called back and waited another hour trying to get a 1BR Preferred at SSR for one night instead of the studio I was able to get. Apparently, there's a glitch that can prevent resale contract owners from borrowing points! I told her that on 5 occasions this morning, I had a 1BR held and got to the borrow points screen and the site crashed. There was no attempt to help me secure the room other than refreshing the inventory a few times. Maybe that's all she could do. It sure falls short in my opinion! Earlier this month, I was able to borrow points for another trip we planned using our resale contract.

She said if I see the room available to call and have them borrow the points and book it. I almost laughed out loud that she thought, in this current environment, a 1 BR becoming available online for mid-September Saturday night would actually still be available after waiting on hold for 60 minutes! She didn't see the humor in that.

Oh well....there are bigger problems in the world than me and my wife having to spend one night in a Saratoga studio and then switching to a 1BR at Saratoga after spending 6 wonderful nights at the BCV in a 1BR. Unfortunately, there are 6 points in my account that will probably die since I can't use them and they will expire at the end of November. With cancellations happening, perhaps my BCV waitlist will come through.
 
I am now dreading the call I likely need to make to cancel an upcoming reservation.

I had the same thing happen to me too. So frustrating. I'm not a happy customer at this point. Disney needs to figure themselves out real quick. I have patience for things being wonky because of COVID, but all the issues I'm seeing with Disney right now can't all be attributed to that.
 
I called last Friday afternoon (probably around 1-ish pdt. IT said it was a 72 minute wait, but the call was picked up in under an hour. Had a very efficient rep and was off the phone fairly quickly. I just had the hold music sitting on my cell phone speaker option and continued working.
 
I was on hold yesterday for 92 minutes to cancel the first day off of a linked reservation, which took 26 minutes because apparently this is the type of Astro-physics that a “back-end support team” has to handle these days.
 
Found a nice 1BR at the BWV to replace my SSR Studio. I had to borrow 5 points and BOOM the website crashed!! What a cluster of a site. I love Disney but this issue needs fixed soon!!!
