Gabrielle: "alright, professor." She said as they approached the hospital wing. She laid the unconscious boy on a cot, and called for the nurse.

Gab: Gabrielle ran out of her common room and saw the headmistress. "Professor Jay, there is a problem. Can you come with me? My friend Jackson has been acting strange, and now he can't remember things! And now he is unconscious!" She started to tear up.

Professor Black had been coming down the corridor when she saw Gabrielle running toward Professor Jay; Jackson lay unconscious. "Take him to the hospital wing," she directed at Gabrielle.

Professor Black: "You have no need to worry, Gabrielle; we have everything under control," she said. Melanie hated lying to a student, but she couldn't think of anything else that would make sense. Nothing like this had happened since she had been in school herself.

OOC Um first to post here gets the nurse then, and if you have the nurse and a teacher that's fine, as I think everyone who wishes to have a character has one now. Apologies for overlooking this and not clearing it up sooner.

"Professor, I'd like to speak with you in private, if I may," she said. Her brown eyes were glazed with worry; fear for herself, her professors, and her students.

Jezebel: Jezebel turned the the nurse. "Hello," she said. "We seem to have had a... mishap." She lowered her voice. "Will he be okay? Too many strange things have been happening..."

Jezebel: Jezebel nodded. "Thank you, Professor," she said in a normal voice, trusting the Professor could think of a fine cover story. She smiled to the rest of the classroom. It was forced. Her brushed her blonde hair back, gave Professor Smith a 'good luck' look, and walked out of the classroom.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith looked to the class. "Right. Now, who can tell me where some of the first records of witches and wizards were?"

Professor Smith: He looked around and spotted Veronica's hand. He called on her. "Yes, Miss Spencer."

Veronica: "Greece and Rome, which explains today's decorations."

Professor Smith: "Correct, Miss Spencer. Some of the first known wizards came from Greece, and their descendants popped up in Rome later on. The muggles did not understand magic and so did what Miss Spencer?"

Veronica: Veronica answered uncomfortably, "They believed it was divine power and worshipped these witches and wizards."

Professor Smith: He nodded. "Good. Can you tell me about these witches and wizards, Miss Spencer?"

Veronica: "Their leader was a wizard named Zeus, he lorded over all of the others as king. He was especially good at weather magic, particularly storms. His wife Hera is thought to be his sister and his wife but that is not the case, she was only his wife. Zeus and Hera were such good friends as children that they were like siblings, but weren't actually siblings, however the muggles could not translate the Ancient Runes and so interpreted wrong. His Roman descendant was Jupiter. Hera was the queen and was especially good at charms and some healing magic. Her Roman descendant was Juno. Poseidon, one of Zeus' brothers, was good with water and natural disasters. His Roman descendant was Neptune. Zeus' other brother, Hades, was good at Dark magic and some potions, and his Roman descendant was Pluto. Demeter was good at herbology and other nature magic, and her Roman descendant is Ceres. Dionysus was good at charms and some herbology and nature magic, and his Roman descendant was Bacchus. Athena was good at charms, transfiguration and defensive magic, and her Roman descendant was Minerva. Hephaestus was good at transfiguration, some potions and fire magic, and his Roman descendant was Vulcan. Ares was good at defensive and battle magic, and his Roman descendant was Mars. Aphrodite was good at charms, transfiguration and some potions, and her Roman descendant was Venus. Apollo was good at healing magic, astronomy, charms and some defensive magic, and his Roman descendant was also called Apollo. Artemis was good with animals and magical creatures, and was good at astronomy and some defensive magic, and her Roman descendant was Diana. Hermes was good at some animal magic, charms, some healing and protection spells, and his descendant was Mercury."

Professor Smith: Professor Smith kept talking, half teaching and half telling stories about the Greeks and Romans as well as the Egyptians, Norse, and the Celtics. The muggles had many myths and stories very similar to the ones he told, but like Veronica had explained, the muggles had not been able to understand the Ancient Runes and had translated and passed down the stories incorrectly.

For your homework I want you to write a foot of parchment on why learning history is important and a foot on one of the civilizations we talked about today!" Near the end of his sentence he began to walk over to Jane and heaved her to her feet. "Someone take Jane to the infirmary!"

Veronica: Veronica was surprised to see her throwing up. All the students seemed to be getting sick or injured today! Something wasn't right.

Lucas: Lucas sat frozen in his seat in surprise. What was happening? He wasn't going to take her, not because he wanted her to suffer but because Luke couldn't carry her with his ankle and even if he could, they would notice his leg and he would miss quidditch.
