Cindy: Cindy sighed and saw the Professor's expression. So they weren't happy either. Boredom crept up on her.

Jezebel: Jezebel (in the form of a blue jay, being an Animagus) flew in, landed on the ground, then transformed back into a human, a smile on her face. She looked at Professor Smith. "Hello, I hate to disrupt, but I wanted to stop by and check in on everyone on their first day. The ghosts have told me we've been having some trouble, but I'd like to assure everyone that everything will be okay." She didn't tell them her real feelings: Jezebel was feeling fear, she knew something was wrong. But she couldn't tell the students that, she couldn't worry them. She looked at Lucinda, and raised an eyebrow. What was wrong with her? She decided to talk to her later.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith turned to Professor Jay, his rage barely concealed, but since Jezebel knew him so well, she would probably be able to notice his eyes and his set jaw, but he continued to speak in a deceptively mild voice. "Good day Headmistress. I was about to start class, but Professor Linus needs one of my students." Professor Smith was not approving of this at all.

Lucas: Lucas looked surprised. What was the Headmistress doing here? She usually just sat in her office or did whatever it was a headmistress did.

Veronica: Veronica's eyebrows shot up. Well, this was unusual. What was Professor Jay doing here?

Gabrielle: "I-I'm Gabrielle, Ravenclaw sir. I'm so sorry." She saw Jackson looking dazed. "I-Is he allright, sir? Jackson?" She waved her hand in front of his face. No reaction. She was worried. This day kept getting stranger.

I've been visiting the classrooms, most haven't had problems, but still... Just promise me if you know anything you'll contact me immediately. I need to say again, I hate to disrupt everything." She felt bad for interrupting, but she had to make sure that if Professor Smith knew something he'd tell her. She knew she would be able to count on him. At least, she'd hope so...

Perhaps a private word with Melanie would be a good idea before he took action. He at least could easily hide it with a pretext, he was a former Gryffindor and she was the Head of Gryffindor house, he could always say he was discussing grades of the Gryffindor students or something along those lines.

Gabrielle: she nodded at her professor. "Do you know why things are strange around Linus? Jackson was with hi before he forgot things and fell unconscious." She lifted him over her shoulder and slowly dragged him to the hospital wing.
